Chương 1: Long Time Ago
"An omnivore are a destroyers that often destroys its kind for surviving"
40.000 years ago, there lived 11 individuals that represented earth's might. They are called The Ancient Warrior, who fought for their own lands and protected the citizens on it.
They had a unique power that all people do not have. They are considered to be god to its people.
Even before they reincarnated each 40.000 years to fulfill their duties as the defenders.
They live in peace by working together to defend their people and lands from unknown creatures that people call them Chaosits. But there's a big war between the last reincarnated warriors.
Not a war that brings justice to their own but a war as a human ego. Where the two of them have feelings (love) for each other and stop defending earth from Chaosits.
One of the warriors is envious of that and started using chaosits to turn everything to its favor and start a big trouble for all the remaining warriors that do not have a problem.
Turns their lands into chaos, causing many innocent people to die. Turned to be an evil god itself, the warriors began to Influence by the evil that the one warrior spread and they allied to kill the two.
Others allied to the two that they also believe they don't need to fight each other to solve the differences. But the two not giving themselves any reason to fight the evil side and rather dismissed them, making the rest confused so they decided to hold their guard for the two in order to defend themselves.
The heat between good and evil is raised to the limit where they fight not only to defend but to kill each other as vengeance. Realized the two running out a choice to end the war, one of them where the strongest condemned the ultimate sacrifice that ends all the lives of the warriors, sealing their power and erasing all the human memories which make people forget about the warriors and think they never existed.
That ultimate sacrifice is forcing humans to evolve to fight the chaosits. And bring them into today's humans that after 15.000 years later are able to create a way to survive. They manage to exterminate the chaostis by their skills and technology.
Humans raised their own nation, raised their own technology for their defense without knowing about the ancient warriors' existences. A successful result for the ultimate sacrifice until one of the strongest nations discovers the ruins of one of the ancient warriors.
Bringing their curiosity to study the ancient warriors' existences and develop the leftovers for their technology. They are known as XAG, an organization created to bring peace to the world by joining forces and funding the organization to be the strongest as it is today.
Leaded and founded by Orphenus, the man that discovered the ancient warriors' ruins and leftovers. The man is obsessed to uncover the mystery behind the ancient warriors' existences, he wanders around the world to find a piece of information for his research for 25 years.
But as a human he is getting older and older where he no longer can go by himself. At the age of 35 he married to foreign woman and had two twin daughters named Erisa and Bella.
He raised both of them by influencing them to continue his research by taking them to the ruins, reads his journal, teaches the ancient languages for he hopes someday they both will discover more than he was able to.
But Bella the youngest is not interested in that knowledge, she has an egoistic personality, clumsy, where she does not even care about what her father or other people are doing. She only pleases herself by what she wants and decides to dedicate herself to the XAG military and is promoted to a major position.
Erisa the elder in other way is a cheerful young girl and very interested by her father's findings and dedicated herself both for the research and military where she was promoted as lieutenant position and continued her father's journey by the help of the military.
Both siblings are working together for their father's obsession and eventually surpass the father's ability by finding more ruins and relics that uncover more about the ancient warrior's mystery.
At his late 50 Orphenus is not able to continue the research in which he trusts her older daughter to carry his legacy of the XAG and obsession. She eventually becomes the next leader of XAG where her sister will support her reign.
Erisa - XAG Leader
Of course Bella followed her father's wishes even though she disagreed with the decision of making her sister that lower rank and all of her weirdness trustworthy to be a leader.
With envious she just can only follow what her father's as the leader, an codeetic as an military highest rank and daughter. Erisa on the other hand is changed after her promotion as the leader where she was a cheerful young girl, known to be a friendly person by others who changed to be a serious person and never showed her pure cheerful smile after.
This effect on her journey to uncover the ancient ruins where she does not bring many of his friends, or other personnel which she only brings Bella and her teams to accompany her journey.
One night on their journey they are resting for the night by building camp site in the middle of snowing Antarctica land. With only light by lantern, Erisa reads his father's journal that she always brings in every discovery mission and also adds her own journal while Bella accompanies her and guards the camp site.
Bella is aware that her sister's personality has changed but she never has a chance to ask because of her clumsiness. Erisa in other way knows her younger sister is having a trouble on her mind by knowing her stare at her is not normal and feel weirded by the situation.
Although they are siblings, since Erisa's promotion they both never had a chance to talk as sisters and realized that this situation comes from both personalities' backgrounds. Erisa closes her journal and walks over to her sister and sits in front of her while Bella is surprised by Erisa's action that she never saw before.
"You seem troubled." Erisa said.
Bella surprised her sister by suddenly talking to her.
"N-no… I'm just enjoying this." Bella replied by showing her sister a can of candy.
"Ah! That is your favorite isn't it?! Can I have one? It's been forever I haven't eaten any candy during the discovery mission." Erisa's sudden excitement weirded Bella even more.
"S-sure.." Bella hands over the candy to her sister.
"Mmmmm!!! So sweet!" Erisa's joyful shouted. Her face makes Bella relaxed that her sister is not completely sane as she thought be.
"Erisa, you know… I haven't seen you smile like that in a while, I thought you were troubled by our father's decision to promote you as the leader." Bella asked her sister about her concern.
"I am troubled, But not like I don't like the idea of making as the leader, I just don't want to let him down because of his decision." Erisa answered her sister with a fake smile on her face.
"I thought so, You never failed him." down faced Bella said.
Erisa reached Bella's hand and held them, "We sisters indeed have the same thing in mind."
"E-risa?" confused
"We will do the best for our own sake, Even though our differences are 180°." Erisa slightly smiled and stared at Bella's eyes deeply.
Bella chuckled,
"Haha! I guess you never change at all huh, Why do I even think that."
"W-wait! Are you actually concerned about me?" Erisa's surprised to hear her sister actually worried about her so much.
"At first, yeah… But seeing you like this does not make me certain about that, Why would I care about a weird cheerful girl like you." Bella smiled at Erisa and slapped her palm at her forehead.
"You are actually the most sensitive one in our family you know." Erisa smiled at her for her admiration to her sister, "You remember that we had a fight over a candy that father gave us?"
"Huh??" Bella answered,
"You suddenly cried after I got mad at you for stopping you from eating so much, But here we are sharing candy in the middle of nowhere."
"Hahaha! Do you still remember that embarrassing moment?" Bella laughed and responded to that story.
"How can I forget that-" Erisa suddenly stops in the middle of the sentence. Her eyes become wider as she feels someone getting near their camp.
"Who's there?!" Erisa shouted.
"Ah it's me, Lady Erisa. Takuma." A man's voice answered her from outside.
"Ahh! Takuma! Get in!" Erisa's humble answer and change of expressions suddenly makes Bella confused.
"If you excuse me." Takuma enters the camp.
"Good evening ladies… Am I interrupting?"
"Takuma, what are you doing here?" Bella questions Takuma.
"Ah about that…" Erisa immediate answer her but stop and look at Takuma.
"Actually I'm here to inform Lady Erisa about the preparation." Takuma answered.
"So it's time… Bella, suit up and weapons." Erisa responded to Takuma's information and asked Bella to also prepare herself.
"What preparation? Where are we going now?" Bella suddenly stood and picked her weapon and armours.
"Just come and you see." Erisa answered in a hurry.
(Takuma is actually their childhood friend since their living together and had the same rank as Erisa before she got promoted. Takuma is given a special position for Erisa as her assistant since her promotion. Also his loyalty to Erisa is deepest among others, making him the only person that Erisa trusts besides her sister. His status as assistant is hidden due to protecting his reputation in the military and often acted silently if Erisa asked to do something outside her other personnel.)
After Takuma comes to inform Erisa about the unknown preparation that they arranged, they three move toward the ice mountain nearby without any one of their teams. Takuma provides some information that they should head 20 km north from their camp. There is an entrance to get inside the mountain with dazzling lights inside of the cave, Takuma is sure about the other undiscovered ruins that they search for. They walk for some time but Bella seems confused with the situation and asks Erisa why she attempts to discover the ruin without the others knowing.
"Say sister, why are we going to the ruins without anyone else with us?" Bella asks.
"From the 11 ancient warriors that father discovered, only 2 of them remain in this world that he is unable to discover. This might be one of them." Erisa answers her.
"But still-" Bella tries to argue.
"I'm not sure about you, but I fear father actually planning something with this all thing." Erisa cuts her word.
"We don't know about what he might have planned, but I want to make sure by myself that of the important ruins of all we discover, I want to be the first one who sees and digs more about this thing deeply." ~
Bella is surprised by Erisa's thinking and she finds it makes sense why her sister thinks this way because she is concerned that all the matter will occur if her father does what she thinks. They continued walking until they arrived at their destination.
"You are right, Takuma. There's a light inside like a flame." Bella said.
"Alright. Bella and I will go inside. Takuma, whatever happens you do not tell everyone about it until I say it by myself." Erisa responded.
Takuma nods and waits outside the cave while both siblings go inside. The breeze fades away the deeper they go, the warmer they feel. It's a normal cave for half away they walk in, but after reaching the light source the walls are full with 10 statues facing other statues on the other side. They more surprised when reaching the end of the cave.
"Erisa! That…" Bella notices something
It is a statue of the 11 ancient warriors that is laid one by one from the bottom to top and ends with a sword that stabs them.
"That is… the ancient warriors. But why?" Erisa was confused.
"Something written on the sword…" Bella says.
"You are right Bella!" Erisa goes near the sword and reads it.
"Under the darkness and light, this violet blooms upon their eyes (the sword glows violet) who dare to defy rules of power will never achieve peace. With this power, I am The Forgotten Princess-" Erisa stops.
(Suddenly her hair turns yellow and her eyes glow red and her hand touches the handle of the sword and pulls it out) "Release you."
"Eris-"
Sudden explosion of power blows everything away including Erisa. The power sealed within is released and accidentally merges with Erisa before she is thrown away outside the cave along with Bella.

Mrk23 The Ancient Story is actually visual novel game that I created about 2019 - 2022. The game is still development and I got really messed up with the idea of making a game because I couldn't keep up with the production time and story writing. So I decided to write it to be a novel that I think is more fun to write or read.
I'm still new about writing a novel so it might be have some hard timento understanding the meaning of the words that I'm trying to tell, but I you guys find this story good enough to read and imaginable to you readers.
About this chapter: The prolog chapter that explains the events 40.000 years ago and the current time.
