I was lost for words. I was already having a hard time digesting everything around me, being a Moonstruck but isn't actually a Moonstruck, how to rule a pack and become a better Luna for our people, and most importantly, how to serve my mates like a proper mate.
"You're really overthinking things."
My thoughts were interrupted when a pair of muscled yet gentle arms wrapped themselves around my frail body. I leaned back to feel Stephen's warmth as I dulged into intoxication with his smell.
"I am?" I asked, closing my eyes to feel him more. "I just think that we're having problems back to back, and it's getting to me. My head hurts and I get dizzy."
Aaron— who was in the kitchen cooking us dinner, stopped and turned the stove off. He walked closer to us in the counter and leaned his face close to me. "Are we expecting another child?"
I snapped from Stephen's arms and sat upright. "Are we? I–I mean, I don't think I'm pregnant again."
