"What's up?" I asked lazily while looking at the suits, I was getting a wedding, and it was going to be a wedding of mixed cultures... well, those that Wu Yun and Helian Xun thought were nice. Behind me, my mother who had joined me for suit shopping stood.
"Ask Xia Qingyue to marry you." She said making me look at her with a weird look. But after a moment, I understood. I thought for a moment, before nodding. It seems like Xia Qingyue had doubts, she couldn't say anything. So, I had to make the first move to break that barrier.
The Question? Simple, I will ask her to marry me. I wanted her to be my wife, and knowing Xia Qingyue, she should also want to marry me but would have many conflicting feelings about this. The main one is Yun Che, she just told him she wasn't planning on ever marrying, and even so, Yun Che was still trying to win her heart.
"What do you think of this one?" I asked lightly while showing her a white and blue suit, making my mother speechless.
"Is blue and white your theme?" She asked with a roll of her eyes, to which I thought for a moment, before frowning... why was I limiting myself to just blue and white? There was Red and Purple.
"How about red and purple?" I asked with a smile, making my mother think for a moment. She had only been on Earth for a small amount of time and didn't have that much time, but she had gone through all of Earth's culture within a heartbeat.
"I think I heard something about red not being worn to a wedding...." and so we got to work. It took some time, but after getting my suit, I shot off and went to see Xia Qingyue, who was currently looking at a garden she had started. All of the types were beautiful ice-related flowers.
"... Don't ask." She said lightly, not turning back to see me. I ignored her, while walking over to her side, and looked at the flowers.
"I have come to learn something... Simply living in the moment without caring about anything else is foolish. Living to your fullest, while making sure you can't look back upon the past with regret... that's what it means to live." I said while smelling the ice rose, Xia Qingyue said nothing, not knowing what to say.
"I will not ask you to marry me... I will leave that up to you. I will respect your choice, no matter what." I said lightly, to which Xia Qingyue thought for some time, before speaking.
"I guess it makes sense now..." Xia Qingyue said with a smile while looking towards me, making me look at her with a smile.
"Living to the fullest without regrets, you're thinking ahead at the effect of your actions. You accepted the fact you are alone. You alone are the honored one, you alone shall forever be alone, you came to accept that." She said while waving her hand, causing an ice spear to shoot towards me, just to shatter upon contact with my chest.
"Yet as lonely as you are, you hold out a hand for those you see as below you to one day stand at a level similar to your own. You let us in, but not to your heart, for you know at the end of the day, there is a chance we would never stand on the same stage as you. you hold out hope, but also expect the reality before you." Xia Qingyue said while looking at my blindfold, seemingly seeing past it and into my eyes.
"All this time I thought your heart remained the same, after all, you let us in... I just didn't know you used Infinity elsewhere." She said softly, to which I smiled. Indeed, I had accepted the fact I was a one-of-a-kind. I was the best, I was Limitless... and I was alone. Maybe, Wu Yun would be the only one who would remain at myside for eternity and beyond, who knows if I will still remember XIa Qingyue past an infinite number of years and so on.
"... so, will you marry me?" Xia Qingyue asked with a faint blush, to which I smiled while nodding lightly.
Elsewhere... well, could this be a place? For this place is located within nothing, and nothing had nothing within it. It was like going to 0 Dimension and trying to point out a place within that one point, but Nothingness didn't even have one point within it... it had nothing.
Within this Nothingness, a blood-red-haired man was shooting through the Nothingness, shooting towards the incomplete heavens which held his daughter. This man was Shi Yan, long ago, he had a daughter. But this daughter of his had problems and couldn't sit still, she had to be up and moving, so she ran out one day to have fun. This happened to be around the time the piece of heaven was cut off, and she was taken with it.
It was unclear what happened, but she died. He searched high and low for her soul. He knew her soul was still there, but didn't know just where there was. At first, he thought it was Bloodthirsty doing. He was from Earth, and under Bloodthirsty control, he had appeared in this world.
Bloodthirsty was... well, he wanted to devour him. He gave Shi Yan a lot of resources and had Shi Yan grow stronger so he could devour Shi Yan. But Bloodthirsty never expected Shi Yan to be from the now incomplete Heaven, with that heaven no longer connected to this heaven, Shi Yan's soul which had originated from that incomplete heaven split from the complete heaven, which was something small, but it destroyed Bloodthirsty's plans.
Bloodthirsty had made a move against Shi Yan not too long ago, wanting to devour him. But it ended up with the weakened Bloodthirsty almost being completely devoured, forcing Bloodthirsty to turn and flee for his life, and to this day, Shi Yan had yet to see him.
So, his daughter was alive, and was strong enough to even alert him. he had moved fast, not wanting Bloodthirsty to get to her first. As for Nothingness? He wasn't worried, ever since his daughter disappeared, he had worked on a treasure that could allow him to travel through Nothingness. He wanted to locate the Incomplete heavens on his own... but that wasn't needed as on the way to the incomplete heaven, he met a stunning beauty.
Although the stunning beauty couldn't compare to any of his wives, she was still beautiful for her cultivation realm. She could even use her beauty to charm nothingness? This shocked him, so after talking with the beauty for a moment, he understood more about where he was going and made friends with a new talent who could be his wife one day. She was arrogant... but it only made him want her even more.
Shi Yan helped her out, and she helped him out by having Nothingness's hold on his Ship lessen, allowing Shi Yan to travel through Nothingness faster, and without returning to Nothingness as fast as before... and now, he was there, just in time to stop his daughter from marrying someone. That said person needed to gain his approval first.
In the universe that held Earth, Shi Yan's ship arrived, while the nothingness holding onto his ship slowly disappeared, overwhelmed by the whole not of something in the heavens. Shi Yan had the ship disappear, and with a flash, she appeared above the earth, looking at the wedding which was taking place.
'Oh, this is troublesome, he didn't grow weaker.' Gu Changga who was my best man thought, showing no hint that he sensed Shi Yan. He was sure that Shi Yan should have grown weaker, but if Shi Yan didn't... that meant he might have to go all out if things went south.
In that old life of his, he was the one to cut this piece of heaven and throw it into nothingness. He had completely cut all karma, ensuring not even those who were his equals could locate this incomplete heaven... to think someone's karma was connected to someone who was his equal, made him unable to cut it fully. But he did cut that person's karma with the complete heavens, making it so that Shi Yan pretty much had no karma.
'What level of Infinity is that?' I thought with a smile while looking at Helian Xun who stood there frozen, unable to move for a good amount of time. This made everyone confused, mainly those who couldn't sense Shi Yan.
"Dad..." Helian Xun said with tears while looking past the ceiling and saw Shi Yan, who couldn't help but smile warmly seeing his daughter. He stepped forward, and instantly appeared before his daughter, ignoring everyone, and hugged his daughter who was in a beautiful wedding dress.
Helian Xun hugged Shi Yan, tears running down her face. She had just regained her past life memory, and she instantly saw this person as more of her father than the Dragon emperor I killed long ago.
Seeing this, I sighed... looks like I was about to fight. Couldn't this wait once the wedding was finished? What a pain, I was just about to be a husband. I looked at Shi Yin, who was looking back at me, a sharp and cold glair filling his gaze. How could he watch his daughter marry someone she had fought to the death with over and over again? How could he watch someone steal his little girl?
