Chương 36: war is about to start

[Note: the name used in this chapter are not from tensura because it is happening 2000 years before plot start.]

The sun hung low, painting the horizon with hues of orange and red as the Cyberion Imperium's army prepared to march westward. Rows of gleaming Cybertronians stood in perfect formation joined by other machin life, their metallic forms shimmering under the fading sunlight. Behind them, tanks with massive plasma cannons, aerial gunships, and hulking battleships hovered ominously in sky, awaiting the command to unleash devastation.

At the head of this formidable force, Megatron stood tall, his crimson optics scanning the horizon. By his side, Jetfire, ever the strategist, examined maps projected on a floating hologram. The Western Territories lay before them—a land fractured into independent states and small kingdoms, each boasting formidable defenses and ancient magics.

"Our orders are clear," Megatron declared, his voice a rumble of authority. "Crush all resistance. Secure the territory for the Cyberion Imperium. For Lord Zeyron!"

The army erupted in a synchronized roar, a sound that echoed across the plains.

The Battle for the Nivalis Kingdom

The first target of the campaign was the Nivalis Kingdom, a land known for its bitter cold and mastery of frost magic. As the Cybertronians advanced, they were met with fierce resistance. The kingdom's capital, a fortress of ice and stone, was surrounded by legions of frost mages and enchanted beasts.

"Deploy the gunships," Jetfire commanded. High above, sleek aerial units darted forward, their plasma turrets glowing as they unleashed devastating firepower. The ground trembled as tanks rolled into position, their cannons firing in unison to batter the kingdom's defenses.

The Nivalis defenders retaliated with a ferocity that stunned even the Cybertronians. Frost magic surged from the walls, conjuring massive ice barriers and freezing the ground beneath the advancing tanks. Frost wolves, summoned from the ether, tore through the front lines, their ethereal forms impervious to most conventional attacks.

"Reform the lines!" Megatron bellowed, raising his massive sword. He charged into the fray, cutting through the frost wolves with brutal efficiency. Behind him, Cybertronians adapted their tactics, using heat-based weapons to counter the icy onslaught.

After three days of relentless combat, the Nivalis Kingdom fell. The Cybertronians entered the capital, their numbers significantly reduced. Of the 10,000 sent to the West, only 7,800 remained. Among them, 670 were damaged beyond repair, their shattered forms left on the battlefield as grim reminders of the cost of victory.

The Aurelia and Solaria Campaigns

The conquest continued as the Cyberion Imperium turned its attention to the Aurelia Kingdom and the Solaria Dominion. These realms had forged a fragile alliance, pooling their resources and magic to resist Zeyron's forces.

In Aurelia, the Cybertronians faced enchanted constructs—massive golems powered by ancient runes. Each golem was capable of leveling entire battalions, and their resilience made them nearly impervious to the Cybertronians' plasma weapons. The battle dragged on for weeks, with heavy losses on both sides. Ultimately, the Imperium's relentless assault overwhelmed the defenders, and Aurelia fell.

The Solaria Dominion, known for its mastery of fire magic, proved an equally formidable opponent. The skies above the battlefield burned as Solarian mages summoned firestorms to engulf the Cybertronians. Warships hovered overhead, their energy shields absorbing the brunt of the attacks while raining destruction on the enemy. By the time Solaria was conquered, the Cybertronians were battered but victorious.

The Eastern Empire's Unrelenting Advance

While Zeyron's forces struggled in the West, Rudra's Eastern Empire swept through its targets with ruthless efficiency. Within three months, the Eastern Empire had annexed the Dwarven Kingdom, a kingdom renowned for its craftsmanship, and the entire Jura Forest, a land teeming with monsters and resources.

At the heart of the Jura Forest, Veldora, the Storm Dragon, stood as the last line of defense protecting his territory. Unlike Zeyron's calculated conquests, Rudra's approach relied on overwhelming force and careful persuasion.

Rudra did not force Veldora into servitude; instead, he appealed to the dragon's love of battle, offering him an endless array of enemies to crush. This was only possible because rudra know the personality of veldora from manga he read thanks to zeyron.

Veldora's arrival on the battlefield was nothing short of catastrophic. His storm breath obliterated entire armies, and his thunderous roars shook the earth. The smaller kingdom surrounding the Jura Forest, despite their valiant efforts, were no match for the Storm Dragon's power. With Veldora's aid, the Jura Forest and the surrounding nation not touched by zeyron was claimed, solidifying Rudra's control over the East.

---

Back at the Cyberion capital, Zeyron observed the reports of his army's victories and losses with a cold, calculating gaze. Nova appeared beside him, flickering into existence.

"Our losses in the West have highlighted critical vulnerabilities," Nova said. "I have already begun implementing the necessary improvements."

Zeyron nodded, his golden eyes fixed on the massive assembly lines below. Thousands of new machines were being constructed—tanks, helicopters, and battleships designed exclusively for war. Unlike the Cybertronians, these units lacked individual consciousness, but their AI systems were optimized for tactical efficiency.

"Our enemies have relied on magic and traps to counter our forces," Zeyron said, his voice calm but firm. "These new machines will counter their magic. They are designed for one purpose: annihilation."

In the center of the assembly lines stood the Behemoth-Class Battleship, a massive war machine capable of devastating entire armies with its arsenal of plasma cannons and missile systems. This new weapon would be the cornerstone of Zeyron's strategy for future conquests.

---

As both the Cyberion Imperium and the Eastern Empire expanded their territories, the inevitable confrontation loomed. On the vast plains of the battlefield Fields, a neutral zone between the two superpowers, their armies gathered.

The Cyberion Imperium brought forth its might: an army of 300,000 composed of humans, monsters, vampires, goblins, and 50,000 machine life. The Cybertronians stood at the forefront, their presence a symbol of Zeyron's unyielding ambition.

Opposite them, the Eastern Empire's forces swelled to 700,000 strong. Humans, dwarves, demon's and monsters filled their ranks, bolstered by Rudra's elite units. Above the army loomed Veldora his massive draconic form exuding a terrifying aura.

High above, heaven.bore witness to the gathering storm. Guy Crimson, lounging on a crystalline throne, watched with a smirk. "Now this," he said, his crimson eyes glowing with excitement, "is entertainment."

Beside him, Veldanava, the Creator, looked down with a frown. "They've gone too far," he muttered. "If not for my promise to remain uninvolved for two years, I would put an end to this madness myself."

The tension on the battlefield was palpable as the first war horns blared, signaling the beginning of a battle that would reshape the very fabric of the world.
