This is a pile of hot garbage. In the beginning, I thought this might actually be a good read, but as the story went on through the nine absolutely atrocious chapters, it became clear that you don’t actually know how to write interactions between your characters at all. Like I mean, sure, you can write scenes with them interacting, but their interactions don’t make sense to who they are as characters like at all. And even if you try to say “oh this is AU so things are going to be how you would expect him to be for these characters” that doesn’t take into account how things that even if you were to give this story to someone that has never even heard of these characters before it still wouldn’t make sense I mean OK to give an example when Zuko and his uncle make it to Remnant his uncle explain their entire story to Ozpin and though it does state that Ozpin doesn’t believe them. It should be pretty obvious that the entire environment is foreign to them they don’t know anything about the technology, the animals, the people none of it and so as a headmaster, he should have told every single other teacher that Zuko is a special case, and doesn’t know anything about even the most elementary of topics but instead of this, he’s just getting berated and lectured by his professors for not being able to keep up, which is ridiculous and then there was the bullying thing he has nothing to feel shame over, so why is he suddenly feeling so pathetic and shameful and the only one of his teammates he actually needed to apologize to was Ruby and that was only for telling her to shut up as that’s a rather rude comment he did nothing else that demanded an apology at least to them and he certainly doesn’t need to apologize to the bullies that’s even more Ludacris but the most Ludacris of it all is Ozpin telling Zuko someone that doesn’t know anything about the environment he’s currently in and is obviously behind and every single one of his glasses, because obviously that he needs to know help the four people he injured study that was by far the dumbest thing that he could have said in that moment. Anyway, I could talk about this for longer, but I don’t have the patience to do so. This was a waste of my time, and I hope that someone else sees this and decides that it’s a waste of their time as well because this is some trash. Like seriously the author needs to scrap this and go learn how to write proper interactions and logic and then come back and rewrite it. That is if they want to make an actually good story and not continue to shove out this barely mediocre trash.
