Chương 6: Golden Hall Event
Heidi left to go to her room and Zeke kept waiting for the manager of the hotel.
Soon after, Zeke saw a beautiful woman approaching him with a smile.
She was wearing a tight black dress that made her look alluring.
The woman walked over to him with confidence, and he couldn't help but smile.
The woman's skin was pale white and her body was voluptuous, causing him to feel like she was a goddess.
She looked young and full of vitality, like a spring flower in full bloom.
The woman's beauty was so shocking, and her eyes were filled with a charming aura.
Zeke couldn't help but think of the beauty that had left just a moment ago and couldn't help but think, "That woman has such a beauty and such an attractive figure. Who would be able to resist her?"
The woman walked closer to him, and when she was in front of him, she smiled seductively. "Mr. Brown, I'm the hotel manager."
"Hi, nice to meet you."
"You too, Mr. Brown."
"By the way, what's your name?"
"My name is Sarah. Sarah Gold."
"Sarah, that's a nice name. It suits you."
"Thank you, Mr. Brown."
"Since this is the case, then you can call me Zeke."
"Ok, Zeke."
They looked into each other's eyes and felt the attraction between them. Zeke couldn't help but think, 'This Sarah really is a charming and beautiful woman.'
"Since you've been waiting for a long time, let's go in."
"Thank you, Sarah."
After Zeke got into the elevator, the atmosphere between them became more relaxed and natural.
"By the way, have you already seen the hotel?"
"Not yet, but it looks quite beautiful."
"I'll take you around then."
"Sure."
They walked around the hotel and Sarah pointed out the different parts of the building, showing him the various features and attractions as well as the Golden Hall.
It was its own independent building that was quite far of a walk so she simply described what it was for.
Zeke looked around and found that everything was well-maintained.
"Sarah, you've done a good job here."
"Thank you, Zeke."
"I've heard that there's an event going on"
"Yes, there is. It's to decide who will reserve the Golden Hall."
"Oh? What does that mean?"
"It means that whoever wins can reserve the hall for next week.
Due to the grandness of the event in the Golden Hall, it takes many days to set up hence why one would need a whole week of reservation.
"Is that so? That sounds interesting."
"Well, if you're interested, why don't you come to check it out?"
"Actually, this woman asked me to accompany her to the event.
"May I ask who?" Sarah asked. Whoever this woman is, she's extremely lucky!
"Her name is Heidi"
'Heidi… Could it be her?'
"How does she look like?" Sarah asked.
Zeke proceeded to describe Heidi.
"Oh her! She's a very promising person. She's known for being a business prodigy!"
"She owns a very famous company named Heidi Enterprises, but she rarely attends events like this. She usually just sends her assistant
She never shows up without a reason, so it seems that today is quite special"
When he heard this, Zeke was pleasantly surprised.
He wasn't expecting to meet a person like her.
'To think that I'll be accompanying a beautiful and promising woman.'
A woman suddenly walked onto the stage, and the crowd fell silent.
"Hello everyone, my name is Sarah and I'm the host of this event!"
Zeke listened to Sarah talk and introduce the event. It was really simple. The event was basically an auction for the rights to reserve the place.
"Heidi, may I ask why you wanted to reserve this place?" Zeke asked.
He asked simply to start a conversation.
"I wanted to reserve this place for my grandfather's birthday next week!
"Oh, I see."
As the event went on, Zeke couldn't help but get caught up in the mood and excitement of the event.
He also noticed that Heidi was really determined and passionate about her goal.
"And the final bid goes to Mr. James!
Congratulations! You're the one who gets to reserve the Golden Hall!"
Zeke looked towards Heidi, and her face was filled with disappointment.
Although Zeke wanted to help her. The man bid for it fair and square.
It would be disrespectful if Zeke went against that.
After the event, Heidi left after a chat with Zeke.
Zeke was just standing there when he heard the voice of a man.
"Hey, kid! Get out of my way!"
There was a kid with a woman in his arms who was escorted by a few guards.
Zeke ignored the man.
"Who do you think you are?" The young man tried to punch Zeke in the face.
'How ruthless' Zeke thought.
The young man's movements were very slow.
Zeke easily dodged the punch before grabbing his arm and throwing him like a bag of trash.
The kid flew a couple of meters away and landed hard.
"You motherfucker! I'm gonna kill you! Get him!"
There were so many people around that he could easily blend into the crowd and disappear.
But why would he do that?
The crowd surrounded them and were excited to watch the show.
Zeke on the other was annoyed. He just wanted to have a peaceful time.
Zeke used a little bit more force and broke every guard's arms.
They were all laying down on the ground and the young man was finally scared shitless.
"You! What are you gonna do? Do you know who my father is? You were at the event, right? He won the auction! My father is someone you can't mess with!"
Before Zeke could say anything, a middle-aged man walked onto the scene.
It was Mr James, the one who won the auction.
"Dad! I was just walking by him when beat up my guards for no reason!" The young man cried.
Mr James' expression became cold.
"Young man, do you know what you've just done?"
"Oh? I don't understand?" Zeke played.
"I can make you disappear and no one will ever know." Mr James threatened.
"Try me," Zeke said with a grin on his face.
'Zeke! Zeke! Lemme out! I wanna beat them up!' Bia said.
'You idiot! I can't let you appear out of thin air!'
Mr James ordered his guards to surround Zeke.
"I will make you regret messing with my son!"
Before anything else could happen, another voice came.
"What is going on here?!" Sarah arrived at the scene.
"Ms Gold!" Mr James greeted her.
Sarah also greeted him back but then she was shocked when she saw Zeke.
Mr James introduced her son to her and explained the situation.
She was immediately confused. 'Would Zeke really do that?'
Zeke, who was quiet the entire time, finally spoke.
He explained what truly happened.
"So that's what happened. Mr James, so it was actually your son who started all this!"
"Ms Gold, are you really gonna believe this kid over me?"
"Mr. James, I suggest you and your son apologize to him right now"
"The kid you're talking about is the owner of this hotel!" Sarah said in a louder voice.
"What?"
"That young man owns this place?"
"That's hard to believe!"
"Oh my! This is getting even more interesting!"
The crowd was immediately stirred.
Mr James was stunned. Too stunned to speak.
Then he slapped his son in the face.
"You good for nothing! What is wrong with you!"
"Dad stop! It hurts! Help me! This old man is crazy!" The young man cried for help.
"Sir, I'm so sorry for what happened just now! My son deserves to be punished!" Mr James said as he slapped his son in the face.
"Stop," Zeke said.
"Just get out of my face. As for the Golden Hall, take your money, and don't show your face in front of me ever again" Zeke said as he walked away.
"Sir wait!" Mr James then turned to Sarah.
"Ms Gold! Please!"
Sarah also walked away.
As Zeke waited for the valet to bring his car, he called Heidi's number.
He got it before she left.
"Miss me already?" Heidi playfully said.
"You're right Heidi, I do miss you already! But that's not the reason why I called. You're gonna love me for this…" Zeke said playfully.
"Oh? What could it be?" Heidi giggled.
"In a couple of minutes, you'll receive a call that'll make your day, that's all. See you when I see you!" Zeke said before hanging up the phone.
"I wonder what it could be?" Heidi thought.
A few minutes later, an unknown number called her.
"Hello?"
"Hi! This is Sarah from The Peninsula!"
