There was a glint in Cindy's eyes, this was the moment she had been waiting for. She had to convince him by all means. 

She took a deep breath, cleared her throat, and then began, "For starters, you're handsome - incredibly good looking. We would make a perfect match when seen on the outside and you know, as a celebrity, I make a lot of public appearances. Appearance matters." Cindy was smug about her achievements. 

Of course, Elijah knew he was handsome, he has been hearing that since the day he could comprehend speech. So he simply nodded, his lips pulsed theatrically, and gestured for her to go on.
