"CLANG!! CLANG!! CLANG!! CLANG!!"
Was the loud disturbing sound Valda woke up to that morning. Her hands were already at her ear, and she stirred in her bed, casting a curious glance towards the origin of the clamor.
When her sleepy vision settled, the face in front of her happened to be no one else but Sayge. She was holding a frying pan in her hand, along with an iron stick, and there was nothing friendly about her expression—she appeared satisfied even. That haughty look gave too much away, and Valda knew the fox lady had woken her up deliberately, despite the sun being barely out yet, and such impertinence left her brimming in vexation.
"Get up." She ordered, "I don't know about your time schedule in the other realm, but here, you'll have to make some changes if you wish to survive. Get dressed and meet me at the ruined pillars, you have just thirty minutes."
