Chương 5: First sight
After balancing into normal routine of my music class, I got familiar with all the con's and pros of music.
"Hey desiree, I wish yoy could come with me to the field on Saturday. We've got a match to play ". my brother said to me one night after dinner.
"Hmm let me see.... ". Though I didn't have any schedules for Saturday but I still have to feign ignorance.
"Ok... I would come with you but promise me you would get an ice cream for the weather ". I said smiling at him.
"Alright you've got me sis ", he said raising his hands, "I promise ".
.... .... .... ....
"Wow", I exclaimed with a wide eyes, "the field is so big ".
"Little sis ", my brother said, hands akimbo, "you watch me play, then during the half time I get you the ice cream. Deal? "
"Hmm.... Ok, deal ".
Watching a football live is something different from watching it on TV. Its quite interesting though...
I was getting stucked already to where I was sitting watching my brother play, so I decided to take a little walk round the field.
"Leo, I think I need to go now.... See you later ".... I turned just in time to see who was talking.... with a sharp intake of breath I almost screamed 'oh my God '....
I keep staring at him, broad shoulders.... thick chest, God... WhAT??...
"Wow, maybe I should show a little formalities. "I said as he start walking towards my direction.
With my miss american smile I decided to put out a feet.
"Hello "I said smiling and waving my hands, "am desiree what's your name? "
"Leo".
Hump... his sounded so cold.
"You are heading towards the field right? ". i pressed on.
"Yeah ".
"Ok, do mind if I walk with you to the field? ".
"Huh... uh". He shrugged.
God this is bad.... I donno what to say again as we walked silently to the field.
"Desiree do something fast or you gonna loss this moment ". Something in my head kept on nudging me. "Uh.... you guys really played well today, I just love your free kicks and all the stuffs ". I said, though I've never seen him played before nor have I ever come here.
"Yeah thanks ".
Okay, I think he's coming up maybe a little time is what he needed.
"You're welcome ". I said smiling at him.
"See, I've got to go now. I think my attention is needed at the field". He said with a look of readiness to bolt away from there .
"okay, see you around ".
He just ran along to the field.
♦♦♦ ♦♦♦ ♦♦♦ . When I got home, I told Kara about my experience at the field.
"Okay.... I think he needs time to air up... Okay?, so don't feel depressed ".
I just smiled hoping what she said would be true.
