It wasn't just because her father knew that she was a murderer now. Arit also didn't know if she could forgive her father for what he did.

Mark sensed how Arit became downcast after mentioning her parents, and he just held her and told her that it would be fine. Mark knew he would have to talk to Arthur sometime in the future. Maybe after things settled down a little in the country, Mark would seek him out and have that conversation with him. Arthur needed to understand that Arit wasn't the person he thought she was.

That had been earlier in the evening, and after a few intense rounds between the three of them, the two girls had gone to sleep, leaving Mark alone with his thoughts.

Mark was fixing up the stats and skill points that he had recently gotten from his system. He was about to finally make his way into a different dimension for a new mission, and Mark didn't want to be caught off guard by whatever Freya had prepared for him over there.
