the gas is always on, you can always light a cigarette. We sat and drank beer and had fun and listened to the Deep Purple. Leo, aged 19, smoked Aeroflot cigarettes.
Drunken Petronius showed up.
"I ate such a delicious chop today at Architex, do you have something to eat?"
There was nothing but bread and light tea.
He got carried away and accused us "Always when I come, you are eating and eating!"
We were afraid to argue with him, Petronius was an esthete and did not like being argued with.
Shert showed up. He was sober.
