Stealing the Heavens

İ have read many novels also most of the ones here as well yet this is the first review i am writing. İ have rarely seen anything worse than this story simply nothing happens , there are countless battles but no one dies except ordinary folks who apparently die in millions . Women are in the story just to be raped , there are guys who cultivate with their penis , and suddenly battles between cultivators are joined by war machines and moving battle cities that seem to jump from star wars and/ or chrome shelled regios , there is no map to what kind of cultivation methods people do use as suddenly someone who we never heard of before can come up and say well i cultivate this evil art and i can destroy half of your empire now and then he disappears for example , races and cultivators seem to pop up according to the daily mood of the writer rather than any kind of system and at last when i read the part where suddenly some cultivators from space came down with a space ship i stopped reading never to start again . Anyone who gives this garbadge of a novel a good rating is either paid by the writer or five years old.

I am very angry and dropped this novel. Here’s why: Story Development: The way the MC progresses is at a medium level, never too slow and never too fast. On the other hand, about 150 ~ 250 chapters in. He establishes himself as the lover of the princess of Great Yan dynasty. Originally, he didn’t want to love Princess Zhang Le, but grew feelings for her over time. I felt this was a great development, however, it got a little stale with little to no increase in their relationship other than “hey i like u and that’s about it” - Princess Zhang Le. MC repeatedly gets benefits and returns the favor by gifting Zhang Le precious items (she likes to keep those around for no reason) every now and then. This is where I dropped the novel and got **extremely** mad at the author. ((SPOILERS BELOW)) ((SPOILERS BELOW)) MC goes to a mountain range on his birthday and destroys it to let loose some steam. OUT OF NOWHERE, A WOMAN COMES AND TAKES HIS VIRGINITY, HE DOESN'T EVEN TRY TO STOP IT. H-aha, I hate this part. ZHANG LE FIGURES OUT HE HAD HIS VIRGINITY TAKEN. That’s where I dropped it. This makes no sense and is spiraling downward too far for me to read through. Character Design: Things often seem **too** tailored for the MC. Imagine this: You’re going to visit a person that can tell if you’re good or bad (unknowingly) You’re bad, you’re here to take things and leave. HIS FIRST SECT WAS A SECT THAT STOLE FROM PEOPLE (and his mindset had not changed!) and voila, the MC is labeled as a good guy. World Background: The World Background is like this: Historical figures from Japan are reintroduced to a cultivating world 2000 years ago. Most of the historical figures have survived up until today and have recreated their empires. (Great Chu, Great Yan, Great Qin, etc.) But the story often adds too many historical figures where it doesn’t even know what to do with them. There was a little arc 15~ chapters long about the historical figures fighting and talking! (Mostly talking.) A little arc like this should include some meaningful character/world development, but ended up as tea time for the 2000 year old powerhouses. My message to the author: You had such a great and unique story going, but decided to make it a typical xianxia/wuxia/martial arts story.

It started out all great and interesting but the character is super inconsistent with what was established like being a super genius and coming from an underhand group. The mc makes decisions where he is not using his brain or being a thief. He acts all self righteous and it makes this novel bad for me to read. And also how is he taking so long to get strong when hes been stealing so much energy and it seems like it doesnt even benefit him. Even when he got the immortal rope, which is over powered, he doesnt use it to get rid of his enemies. To be honest, i think he just keeps all his enemies alive so that he can have more problems when the time comes.

Chapter 350 and stopped. This is to tiering for me! No villains die and all of them are making the MC piss his pants when they appear (even though he has knowledge beyond everyone else). His idea of cunningness and steeling is nice but never used properly, when he has great moments next time he speaks of his ass making enemy just for the sake of the plot. Here women are literally all h***s (one admits that she f***d around 1500 guys in 5 years!) and every woman is either raped or she is selling herself just for some money or titles. Not to mention that more than 50% of the novel is about f****g women. Even she-bears from the wiled are abducted and f***d. Nothing is spared. This bullshat is so annoying that even when people fight, one guy who trains is p****s every day lifting heavy metals whit it so he could f***k more, uses his p***s to fight and his subordinates to f***k themselves so he could enchant people around him whit erotic thought. As for the MC, he is spinless and when everyone fucks around him, his bullshat`s women his training his yang so he can`t sleep whit them only to be rape by a slot who had f***d someone for 2000 years and got bored so to make jealous her man, she rapes our MC and tells him that she was the last man on this planet she would f****k but becouse she got borde she had to do and now, everyone knows she was raped by him and he his hunted by the most heroic and brave hero in this world who got cuckholded. There are chapters (and a big number of them) where I felt I was ready about different novels mostly because this persons who are all enemies of the MC are big influence people from Chinese stories so to fully understand waths going on, either you have to read on the wiki or make assumptions what the heck is going on because the complex motives behind there actions. (of course complex motive all end in being either mother ****ed or wifes raped and so on). Not to mention, MC cried desperately and complains his all alone in this world, where not long ago he swore brotherhood whit so many people, who despised he wants power, he uses it on his new friends to level them up. Another annoying thing, here everyone after killing, raping and doing despicable things, trying to kill MC every second, are all forgotten once the arc is settled, where most of the guys survive for a cheap reason. There are many other irritating things that make my hair stand but I'm too tired to writhe it down. Not to mention, MC has killed many innocent people but at some point, he arrogantly stands out for a prostitute making the entire story seem so cheap that makes me puke. Of course, there are also good things in it and one of them is side charters have some charm and development, ill try to give it a change later but from the way I see it, much won't change. I even suspect his love interest would go NTR on him, on how much NTR is in this story. Not saying it yet it happened but how lame the MC is acting, I can see it happen.
