"The French president's son has been found. Alive and well." Q said, looking at Pearl.
"That's wonderful." Sebastian said.
"Yes. We had a tip that he might be with the son of another important leader. We were able to track his movements and finally, we found him on a private island near St. Barts." Q said.
Pearl smiled and nodded. "I'm glad to hear it." She said.
"You are both leaving for Italy soon?" Q asked.
"Yes. Tomorrow. Our son is two months old. It is time for a little hiatus." Sebastian said, smiling at Pearl.
"The last time you both had a hiatus, Pearl came back pregnant and your daughter was born nine months later." Q said, chuckling.
"That hiatus was our honeymoon. And this one could give us the same results. We don't know and wouldn't mind either way. I plan to fill this entire palace with our love children." Sebastian said, smiling.
"Slow your roll, big guy. Momma needs a break from the baby birthing for awhile." Pearl said, not smiling.
Q laughed and threw his hands up. "You two lovebirds have an amazing time. I will be in touch." He said.
They knew he would. Erik had been granted a new trial and it was set to begin in a few months. Q was on high intel alert on Erik's movements. So far, he had moved into a flat in Camden town and had been making friends with a local bohemian group there. He was still single and lived with a flat mate that was a published author and poet. For some reason, these people had accepted Erik and Pearl could not understand, as an artist herself, why.
"Are you packed and ready to go?" Sebastian asked.
"Yes. Iris has take care of everything." Pearl said.
"Good." He said. He looked at her and smiled. "I haven't made love to you in two months. My body aches for you." He said, pulling her into his arms and kissing her. She felt the familiar heat on her skin and shivers ran throughout her body.
"Mine too." She said, running her hand down his back and cupping his ass.
"Fuck it." He said, pushing her against the wall and kissing her. She gasped and returned the kiss, wrapping her legs around him as he lifted her.
"Your majesty." A voice said from behind the door.
"Yes." Sebastian said, his voice low and breathless.
"Dinner is served."
Sebastian smiled and lowered Pearl to the floor.
"Are you hungry, my love?" He asked. She loved to see him like this. He was in a state of fire and she wanted to be burned. But the holding out was just as exciting. Seeing the king of England all distraught and flustered over her made her quiver with delight. She adjusted her dress and looked directly into his eyes, grabbing his hard bulge and smiling.
"Ravenous." She said, waiting a few moments and then letting go and walking out of the door. He watched her leave, catching his breath and doing his best to pull himself together.
"Hello Auggie. Maggie. And Dylan, Gail! So glad you could join us." Sebastian said as he walked in. He looked over at Pearl, sitting across from him and clenched his jaw. He struggled to compose himself.
Dylan and Gail had began seeing each other after meeting. It was casual but Pearl was happy to see him at least give a woman a chance.
"Yes. How are you, Auggie?" Pearl asked. They had filled him in on Erik's wish to see him, which he declined adamantly, as they knew he would.
"I am good. No visits and well, fuck him, quite frankly." Auggie said. Maggie looked at Pearl. She could tell there was pain there between them. Auggie loved his brother. He looked up to him all of his life. It had to be awful for him.
"I just want you to know thay I love you all." Sebastian said. "Augustus, you are my brother now. I would do anything for you. We are family."
Pearl looked at him and felt so much love. Sebastian always knew the right thing to do, to say. He had loved her friends and accepted them as his own family as well as Auggie.
Auggie looked up at him, tears welling. "Yes, Sebastian. You are my family, and I love and appreciate you so much." He said, raising his glass. It was the perfect dinner and the perfect evening.
Later, Pearl asked Sebastian if he was coming to bed.
"I have some things to finalize before we leave tomorrow." He said, kissing her forehead. "Get some rest."
She looked at him, confused.
"Besides, I kind of like the wait." He said with a wink. She smiled.
She went to bed and felt anxious, tossing and turning. She was terrified to go back to the chateau. She had just left it there, with only the staff to attend to it and she had no desire to visit it again. She didn't want it anymore. Not any memory of it. Would new memories there with Bash be enough to erase the pain that now lived within those walls?
