Third Person POV.
In a butcher shop in a small farming village, there's a small girl stripping the meat off of a cow carcass.
Nameless Child's POV.
When I finished stripping the bone, I slamed a cleaver in the middle of it, chopping it in half, "I can't believe you let me keep all this bone marrow with how much of a delicacy it is!" I exclaim happily, "It is a delicacy, but it's not something people here would enjoy." The butcher explained, much to my confusion, "But you eat maggot cheese and rotten pufferfish?" I point out, to which the butcher shrugged.
After bagging up the split bones I headed out of the shop to my home, "Got myself a delicous bounty!" I cheered as I made my way through a narrow passage in a hill surrounding the village, "Oh it's you!" I heard someone call out in front of me, and I noticed it was the blacksmith of the village.
"Mr. Harald!" I exclaim, recognizing the man, "You were at the butcher? I wondered why you weren't home." He commented, scratching the back of his head, "By the way, I left something for you in your house." He said as he kept heading back to the village.
Now going a little faster, I got to my door and got inside, dumping the bones into a chest covered in permafrost (Forever frozen ice), and looked around for the thing left there, "Where is it? Where is it!?" I repeated with a smile on my face, until I found a box on my bed, "Here it is!" I exclaimed as I leapt onto the bed, catching the box in my hands and opening it.
Out of the box fell two metal gloves on my chest, "OH YES!!" I exclaimed as I put the gloves on and slammed my fist together, causing a metalling noise.
Getting out of the house, I grabbed hay, wood and rope, fashioning them into a makeshift training dummy and planted it into the ground, "Alright!" I exclaimed as I began punching the dummy with various movements.
As I kept punching, I suddenly got startled by a loud whistle from behind me, which made me miss the dummy and I punched the rock behind it, making a fist shaped dent in it.
Turning around, I saw the three kids from the village, "...I thought you weren't allowed to hang out with me?" I questioned.
Meanwhile.
Harald's POV.
I sat in the mayor's living room enjoying coffee with him, "Are you sure the kids will be okay with her? She's not really a good influence." The mayor pointed out, "She's not a good influence, but let's be real, do you really trust them on their own?" I retorted, remembering what happened the last time they were left alone, "Yeah, fair enough, my daughter had to stay in a cast for a week..." the mayor conceded.
Back with the Kids.
Nameless Child's POV.
"We heard you got a new toy! Can you show us?" The green hair kid (Leafe) requested, "...It's not a toy..." I reply with a pretty bothered expression, "Oh..." Leafe let out disappointed, "Can you still show us? There are these Beastlings (Large hybrid beasts) that have been bullying us!" The girl (Brani) explained.
Hearing that made me laugh a bit, "You know that Beastlings keep to themselves unless bothered? Meaning you just outed yourselves on harrassing them?" I questioned coyly, making them look to the side slightly dejected, "Okay, we just want to learn to fight like you." The youngest one (Folige) admitted, "Why didnt you just ask?" I asked with a raised eyebrow, "Let's start with something simple: The one inch punch."
After Training in Some Moves.
"And that's how you do a whip punch." I finished, "Got it! So fling your arm back." Leafe started as he flung his arm behind his back and then whipped it forward with a fist, "And then whip it for-woah!" He let out as the punch made him spin slightly, "Yeah, it does that if you miss." I quickly add to clear the confusion.
After they practiced the swing a few times, they grouped up, "Alright! with this we'll actually be able to stick it to those Beastlings!" Brani exclaimed loud enough for me to hear, "Wait you actually harrassed a bunch of Beastli-" I was saying, but got interrupted by a low growl, and turning over to a path that led to the forest, I saw a bear-owl beastling cub, "Now don't do anything stupid- and they're going after it..." I stopped when I saw them run.
Looking at them leave, I sighed when Harald came over, "I thought the kids were with you?" He questioned, to which I pointed to the path, grumbling slightly, but ended up saying "I'll go get them." as I started going.
