Chương 217: I got sidetracked

I have returned from that accursed place. But I got dragged in another mess soon enough. This mess is problematic. I will handle it myself. Because it might endanger my family. Samantha will have a lot to answer once I am done.

I go to the castle to see Gwen. The guards at the gate opened the door as soon as I arrived there.

"Good day, Mr. Belmont."

"A good day to you."

They greeted me. Well, I am basically a familiar face to them at this point. Why wouldn't they greet me?

I walk through the corridor to find Trevor. As expected, he is at the training ground.

General Louis is with him as well. That saves me a lot of troubles.

"Trevor, General, how are you?"

"Clive, I thought you went to Galdur." (Trevor)

"I am doing well. Thank you for asking." (Louis)

"Well, I was at Galdur until something happened. Anyway, I am here to inform you that I will be leaving Jupiter for a while."

Trevor and General have stunned faces. The others around us stopped what they were doing and started listening in.

"You mean, you will go back to Earth?" (Trevor)

"No. I will be going outside. I think. Samantha is in trouble so I have to go and save her. So I will be gone for a while."

"But Mr. Belmont, how long is that for a while?" (Louis)

"General, I do not know. It might be a day, a minute, an hour or even a month or a year. Time works differently everywhere. I can't say how long it will take. Which is why I am here to inform you."

General ponders while Trevor is grinning.

"Why are you grinning?"

"You are definitely going to get in trouble. Women troubles are terrible, you know!" (Trevor)

"Don't try to sound like a wiseman. You should first get married and have a kid. I have more experience than you in that department."

His face fell off. I mean, his grin is gone and he looks like it's the end of the world.

And I lied. I have been jumping around that topic without facing it head on. I should consider dealing with it after this is over.

"Then why don't you tell his majesty that as well?" (Louis)

"I mean, you can do it."

"It would be better if you do it in person. Besides, some interested parties are currently having an audience with his majesty. I believe it would be better to have you introduced to them." (Louis)

"Then I will be doing it after I have told Gwen."

He said that he will be ready. I will give him a telepathic message and he will come to pick me up. Trevor told me that she is in her room.

I walk through the corridor once again and go upstairs. I ran into many people on the way. They just gave me a modest nod and left in a hurry.

Well, at least they aren't rude. I did run into some fellow classmates but they tried to avoid me. Wise action!

Standing in front of her door, I knock.

(Enter.)

She spoke in my mind. I go inside. She is sprawled out on her bed. Like a bear rug.

"Why are you laying here like this?"

"I was just arguing with my predecessor. She won't tell me about administrators and stuff." (Gwen)

She sits up. Her eyes are melancholic. Seeing her like this is urging me to hug her. Maybe I should.

"Gwen, I am gonna hug you."

"You are? Then come here." (Gwen)

She spreads her arms and beckons me to hug her.

Embracing her in my arms, I felt her. Her softness, her warmth, her rose like smell, it's the first time I have hugged her.

"Clive, you smell like soap." (Gwen)

"And you smell like roses. What do you use?"

"It's the oil. I use the rose oil after bath to massage myself." (Gwen)

Embracing her like this, my feel good hormones are eating away my stress.

"Your heart is beating quite fast." (Gwen)

"I guess this is a risqué situation."

I got an even more outrageous idea and changed our position.

I am sitting on her bed and she is sitting on my lap facing me. She lets go of me and looks at me.

"What will you do now?" (Gwen)

Her eyes were beckoning me. My soul is telling me to eat her. But can't do that now.

"I am sorry that I can't do it now. Because time is running out."

"I knew it. But you can at least kiss me, right? A long and passionate kiss, just give me one." (Gwen)

I lock the door so no one bothers us and sound proofed the room. I don't want anyone else eavesdropping on us.

Our lips touched. It was soft and supple. It bounced me off but sucked me in at the same time. She initiated the first kiss we had so I have to do it now.

My hand went behind her head and pushed her forward. She opened her lips and invited me in. Our lips locked. Her tongue gently slid into my mouth and started caressing my gums.

The feeling was euphoric. Like my body was floating. My whole body became hot and my brain went numb from the pleasure.

I slid my tongue in her mouth. Her soft mouth, the cherry taste, it was strong enough to knock me out.

I held my breath at one point. This passionate kiss was pleasurable enough for me to forget breathing. But she let go first.

Licking her lips she looked seductive. It's like she has become even more beautiful.

Her skin was dazzling like she was sparkling.

"You really are a sloppy kisser." (Gwen)

"Do you not like it?"

"I didn't say that. It just means that you are greedy. I thoroughly felt your greed. You want me for yourself. I like that." (Gwen)

That kinda hurt me. I am a selfish person. It just reminded me of that once again.

But she kissed me lightly on the lips again.

"I know what you are thinking. You don't have to worry about that. As long as I can be with you, I won't complain about not being the only one." (Gwen)

She is caressing my hair gently. This scene looks like a heartwarming story but our sitting position is by no means heartwarming.

"We will continue from where we left off later." (Gwen)

"We will."

I tell her the gist of everything that happened in the past few days or more like yesterday.

"Good luck on your mission. I hope you will return in one piece. And call for help if you need." (Gwen)

"I will."

It feels bad to leave like this. But there's no other choice. The situation is kinda forcing it. And I am hiding my erection using <Spirit>. Can't have a tent while walking, can I?

I send the message to General and he picks me up. I guess I will meet some new faces today. But I really got sidetracked with Gwen.
