Chương 43: Liza: Return

Liza: 18 years

I finally arrive at Korea. Memories of the past flood my brain.

Jo....

I've not seen her for five years. I want to go visit her but I can't. My father's men were still after. My reckless behaviour ended up with mom's dying. I can't afford to loose my Jo too.

A week has passed since I've arrived at Seoul. I'm tired. Getting a job with no qualification and identity proofs whatsoever in a strange city is proving to be difficult. I overestimated myself thinking someone would hire me but no one is willing to do so. Everyday is rejection after rejection.

Nowadays, I spend my time going after shops with the flyers, "Help wanted", "Hiring" and "Job vacancy". Nothing's working the way I want. I'm loosing hope.

They say God sends guardian angels at times when we need him the most. I wonder if God would send me one.
