Chương 21: The cosmic twist 2
Sophia and Lyrien looked at each other, unsure of what to do. They had never been faced with a decision like this before. They had always been told what to do, always been given a clear mission. But now, they were being asked to make a choice.
"What are the consequences of our choice?" Sophia asked the guardian, who had reappeared beside them.
"If you choose to defend the planet, you will be going against the natural order of the multiverse," the guardian replied. "You will be interfering with the evolution of the cosmos. But if you choose to let the planet be destroyed, you will be allowing the multiverse to continue on its natural course."
Sophia and Lyrien looked at each other again, weighing the options. They knew that they couldn't make this decision on their own. They needed to consult with the Oracle.
They used the Oracle's power to communicate with it, and after a few moments, they received a response.
"The choice is yours, Sophia and Lyrien," the Oracle said. "But remember, the consequences of your choice will be far-reaching. Choose wisely."
Sophia and Lyrien looked at each other once more, and then they made their decision.
"We will defend the planet," Sophia said, her voice firm.
The guardian nodded, a small smile on its face. "I knew you would make the right choice," it said. "Now, go. Defend the planet. The fate of the multiverse is in your hands."
And with that, Sophia and Lyrien flew off towards the planet, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
As they flew, they noticed that the planet was changing. The skies were clearing, and the plants were growing stronger. The creatures were emerging from their hiding places, and the planet was coming alive.
Sophia and Lyrien knew that they had made the right choice. They had saved the planet, and in doing so, they had saved the multiverse.
And as they flew through the cosmos, they knew that they would always stand watch over the stars, defending the galaxy from any threat that might arise. For they were the guardians of the multiverse, and they would always protect it.
