Behold, New World, for the steam engine has finally been spawned into this world. While it wasn't a fully-fledged train locomotive yet, the fact that I had a small-scale railway for this thing to go on meant that upscaling this thing would be a walk in the park. Well, that'll only happen when we actually have a reason to do it, yeah?

"So this is the vaunted steam engine, huh," Phillipe crossed his arms beside me. "Not gonna lie, the craftsmanship's pretty solid."

"It has to be," I snorted. "One wrong move and the engine would blow itself apart. Whenever anybody's going to use it, they have to be on top of everything to make sure it's working within acceptable conditions."

It took a few more days of trial and error, but at least it was a working model. There'd be no shame for me today.
