"Cover yourself up, Flare," I shook my head in exasperation. "You're not well yet."

"Y-yes, I am!" she defiantly replied. Was her sickness messing with her head? She's better than this. "And it's not messing... Anyway, I'm fine!"

Oh, joy.

Standing up from my seat for what was probably the fifth time in that hour, I pushed my patient back down on her bed. Pulling up her covers, the relief she felt was palpable to me even as she tried her best to hide it. She was still flushed and her temperature was still somehow well within the normal limits of a healthy person, but she was still exhibiting fever-like symptoms. I guess her temperature was supposed to be higher than this then.

"The joys of dealing with strange anomalies," I chuckle to myself as I returned to my seat. "To think that I'm actually practicing my supposed doctor-ness..."
