Chương 12: Search and capture part 2
The morning sun rises from the peek of dawn as the light shine towards the roof showing Cammy with her hat hiding her eyes from the sun.She sits up putting her hat back on the right way as she looked around to see anything suspicious.Cammy continues to do this as she can see Craig jumping out of the window.Cammy see him running to her surprise for how fast the human can run.Cammy started to keep an eye on him to make sure he's safe and sound before anything else.Her sniper scope is on Craig as he seems to return jumping onto the second story window in his room.
Cammy:that was fast…I suppose this is what they call training…Hmmmm…Ich glaube, ich muss meine Fähigkeiten mit Schusswaffen verbessern…I'm so happy that I can speak German again…
Cammy continues her watch.Inside the house Craig was walking down stairs with eve acompaning him by floating near him.
Eve:are you sure we should start the investigation right now? It's early, and your also not at a hundred percent master.
Craig:even so…We can't waist our chances with the population up and about…too many people to pin point the reptile…is there such things as a lizard man eve?i may have found a foot print but it doesn't mean anything if it's just a hypothesis with out further proof…
Craig(mind):am I starting to get b-better at communicating?
Eve:it is real…let's say that every creature on the planet are as real as it gets master.
Craig stopped walking as he looked wide eyed a bit.Eve stares at him with a bit of concern for him.
Craig:…all of them…are real…tch, give me a freaking break…do you have any sort of knowledge on them?
Eve:well…
Eve looked up trying to think as much as she can.Then it hit her.
Eve:all we need to do is to take a trip to the library of Alexandria-
Craig:thanks but it's burned to the ground…ether on accident,on purpose or an attack from someone…All of earths knowledge has been lost and replaced by an attempt to copy. Basically lies and half truths within the pages itself…
Craig(mind):I would of l-love to read whats in the library if it was really around but…I-I have more pressing matters to attend to at the moment…
Eve:well…about that.
Craig looked at her with a brow raised.
Eve:I…have an exact copy of an encyclopedia of the planets species from heaven's library.I think it might be too long, if you read it right away and continue to read twenty four hours a day I would say that you would complete it in twenty trillion years and two days.
As Eve made the book appear Craig looked at the book in shocked as he was almost at a lost for words.
Craig:...….
Eve:if you're wondering how many library's would take to compare to this book I would say about…..almost uncountable…
Craig:is there anymore books from the library like this?
Craig felt somewhat hopeful in learning the secrets of the world.
Eve:I can't say since this was the only book I've read from there so it's hard to say.
Craig:…I see…is there an updated version of this book?
Eve made a second one appear as Craig stares wide eye for a bit as he have the two books and placed it on the coffee table.
Craig:…good job
Eve looked at him in shock before it turned to flattery.
Eve:well you know, I have to live up to the expectations of my masters wishes.
Craig went to the kitchen as he grabbed a carton of eggs and some cheese from the fridge.
Craig(mind):this is great! Not only do I have a book on species information, but all of them from the library of Alexandria!!!I know what I'm making is to save time and what not but it doesn't mean I shouldn't make it tasteless.B-besides Eve deserves something good after saving time from me to go to the library.plus I think I can get the books done in about three days tops.just by proof reading I can basically use my photo graphic memory to…Where did the butter go?
Craig looked around for a bit as he looked towards the dining room where the girls are.Craig witness Cammy eating the stick of butter as he felt a bit disgusted by it.
Eve:was that butter?
Cammy:the animal fats? Si.
Domino:…that's pretty disgusting, and that's coming from a rotting corpse.
Cammy:can't help it I'm afraid, it tasted funky but I need to gain my energy somehow.doesn't ghouls do the same?
Domino:…This is my first time out of the grave…how in the hell should I know about myself besides being a bloody ghoul.
Craig:....you do know I need that butter for breakfast right?
Cammy froze up a bit as she turned to him slowly looking very nervous to see an annoyed looking Craig.
Cammy:s-sorry…
Craig sighs as he went back into the kitchen and grabbed the olive oil.
Craig:I have a substitute but it's not going to taste as good.
Cammy froze up as eve glares at her with an innocent smile on her face.
Eve:is that so?Well now we have to burn those calories before you gain weight.
Eves hand was on fire as Cammy shakes a bit.Cammy looks at domino as the ghoul shrugs to Cammy's dismay.
Domino:Sorry soldier, you're on your own.
Craig looked at eve making her stop in her tracks.Eve slowly looked towards Craig with a bit of fear.
Craig:set anything on fire…and everyone misses out on breakfast…do I make myself clear Eve?
Cammy sighs of relief,Eve nods her head like crazy and domino was wide eye at what transpired.
Domino:…Whatcha making?
Craig:eggs…
After some time the pan of scrambled cheesy eggs is made.
Craig:save a serving…
Craig puts his hands together to pray as domino copied him again not use to this type of tradition.Craig was done with his prayers and started to eat his plate of eggs and toast politely.Eve and Cammy on the other hand was consuming it at a fast rate with domino eating a good amount on her plate.The lady's really enjoyed his cooking once more.
Craig(mind):I-I suppose it's an ok success…the oil helps but without the butter it d-didn't gave off the flavor…I'm still wondering why Cammy needed butter-…no, she said it helps regain her energy…in other words the more she consumes the more she has in her tank…..isn't that just normal for creatures of the earth….life consumes life to regain energy as well as grow…wait, gain…dose she mean that in context of replenishing energy or to grow stronger?…I'll ask later tonight about this…
Craig:after this we're going back on the hunt…capture this creature alive…Understand everyone?
The lady's gave their own response as craig sighs.
Meanwhile.
Lilly was yawning within her room as she stretches a bit.
Lilly:morning fluffy butt…actually you might want a better name then-
Lilly looks next to her where the fox should be, but it's nowhere near where she was cuddling it.Lilly looked around the room as she looked infront of her then scan to the left stopping in her tracks as she see's the fox became anthromorthic, standing on her two legs standing over her with a height of 6'2. She still looks like the nine tailed fox with fur and all.Her bandages seemed to be torn from it's size.It seems to be staring at Lilly.
Lilly:…..
Lilly pinched herself on the cheek a bit as she flinched.
Lilly:I'm not dreaming…am I hallucinating? I hope I didn't ate something funky.
Fox:do not be afraid human-
Lilly:IT TALKS?!
The fox coughs a bit to clear it's own throat.
Fox:as I was saying small one, you shouldn't be afraid, I am just a yokai.
Lilly tilted her head in confusion as the fox stares at her.
Fox:you do know what a yokai is?
Lilly shakes her head no as the fox blinks a bit.
Fox:…it's…basically-
Lilly:a ghost?
Fox:…something like that…Regardless, you have helped me in my time of need. I must repay you in any way I can….Whatever you want, it's yours.
Lilly looks at her then up.
Lilly:I don't really need anything, I just did it because I wanted too…but I don't think you want to hear that so…but what's your name?
Fox: I don't have one.
Lilly:I have to think of a name as well…
Lilly thinks and thinks as hard as she can.The fox could of sworn they saw steam coming out of her ears.
Fox:is it really that hard?
Lilly:only because you put me on the spot! I really can't think of anything…a name and a reason…
Lilly closed her eyes.The fox crossed their arms as they think about it as well.
Fox:I have an idea.For repayment I'll serve under you.
Lilly:serve?
Lilly looks up as a thought bubble appears.she started to think of the fox to be wearing a butlers outfit,then a maid outfit, and lastly a collar with a leash like a pet in the foxes original form…Lilly always wanted a pet, but not a person.As she thinks of a way to politely decline a flash of light happened.Lilly looks at her right hand to be wrapped around with a chain.It leads to the foxes neck.It was a slave collar.
Fox:the pact is complete, what is my first order?
Lilly:...…..huh?
Lilly looked shocked as she doesn't know how to process this information.
Meanwhile
Craig and Domino are walking around the city again looking for their culprit.Craig and Domino seemed to have searched everywhere in the district.
Domino:I swear to my own non existent life where In the hell is that lizard.
Craig:hiding
Domino:no shit Sherlock!
Domino was running out of patients with Craig's blunt answers, and the lack of progress with their search for the culprit.
Domino:where else would that lizard bastard be?!
Craig stopped as he looked towards the manhole.
Craig:we've searched everywhere within the surface….
Domino:more then three times, I swear that we were in circles.
Craig:thats because we are.
Domino looks annoyed at Craig.
Domino:your fucking lost?
Craig:your brain can't be that rotted…think domino, I deliberately got us to triple check the area for any signs of changes…plus, there's only one place left to search…
Domino looks at where Craig was starting at.
Domino:….Lizard people with their pet alligators living in the sewers…you have to be joking here.
Domino looks at Craig in a deadpan expression as Craig walked towards the manhole.
Craig:I never joke.
Domino looks at Craig a bit wide eyed.
Domino:shity humor?
Craig opens the man hole that leads towards the sewers.
Craig:not very sociable.
Domino was a bit shocked at his statement.
Domino:really…that can explain some things.
Domino chuckled as Craig looked towards domino in a deadpanned expression.
Craig:…tch,I can see why you lost your eye now.
Domino looked a bit peeved as she walked towards Craig.
Domino:good pun…here's the punch line.
Domino cracks her bony hand.
Craig:hit me…and there will be consequences.
His intimidating aura begins to show as he glares domino down making her back off on her initial intentions.
Domino:...…tsk, fine grumpula I'll hold back the urge to kick your ass.
Craig started to climb down the hole as domino followed him. He began to contact eve and Cammy.
Craig(mind):domino and I-I are climbing down towards the sewers, make sure you keep an eye on us from above with any sense you have.
Cammy(mind):I have my eyes on you in the underground.
Eve(mind):I've changed my vision just to keep an eye on you master, it gives me sight to see life…as well as soul detection just incase we ca-
Craig(mind):you can detect life?!
Eve(mind):yes, wh-?
Cammy(mind):YOU COULD OF TOLD US WHERE THOSE chhipakalee klootzakken were from the bloody beginning!!!
Eve(mind):I know that but if I just use them all Willy nilly-
Craig(mind):you would get detected as well as losing your energy from the usage of it, I-I figured as much considering that I didn't ask for the spell in case of the cons weighing in rather then the pros of it. Just do your best girls, I'm counting on you.
Cammy smirked as eve chuckled.
Eve(mind):as you wish master~
Meanwhile
Lilly and the nine tailed fox yokai where sitting next to each other on the dining room table.
Lilly:since you're a female fox...….how about...…tails?
Fox:understandable but it doesn't strike fear into our enemies.
Lilly looks up.
Lilly:how about...….
Lilly gasps as she slams her hands on the table.
Lilly: Kitsune!
The fox looks at her as she nodded.
Kitsue:kitsune it is, by the name I have given from my master I will honor it with great pride.
Lilly giggles at how serious she is.
Lilly:I'm glad that you like it.now then, when was the last time you bathed?
Kitsune blinks a couple of times as she tilted her head.
Kitsune:I believe I have bathed a week ago-
Lilly gets off the chair as she walked towards the yokai.
Lilly:then let's clean you up! Is it ok if you go to your little form? I can clean you faster if we do that.
Kitsune nodded as she morph back into her small fox like form as Lilly carried her to the bathroom.
Meanwhile
Craig and Domino are searching through the damp sewers of his city.everywhere within was mold, poop and pee.but here and there were miscellaneous stuff around…not good things rather disgusting things.
Craig:…I could never get use to the smell.
Domino:I'm just lucky that I can't smell for 'shit'…damn it I made a stupid pun that was 'piss' poor…not again.
Domino looks very annoyed at her own puns.They continue to walk around the place as Craig looked everywhere to see any sighs of life.until one thing caught his attention.
Craig:…a tv?
Domino:what the fuck?
Domino looks at what appears to be a broken box tv that flickers with bits of sparks as well as it's cord not being plugged in.
Craig:.....it's on.
Domino:I can see that Einstein, someone must of watched football.
Craig:….it's not plugged in domino…how could a tv still be on if there isn't any electrical output…
Before domino can sarcastically respond to his statement they hear a growl, alligators started to emerge out of the water, having their eyes at the two.
Craig:....great.
Domino:at least they aren't ninjas.
Craig raised a brow towards domino as the reptiles steps out of the water.
Craig:...….I'll ignore that comment, I suggest we sh-
Before Craig could finish his word the the reptiles head started to spew out blood with bits of the sun light shining above the animals.Craig looks up to the source of the light, bullet holes from the ceiling of the sewers. Domino looks at this with shock as she jumped a bit.
Domino:what the hell?!
Cammy(mind): Yahtzee!
Craig(mind):...…..h-how high are you two in the air?
Eve(mind): higher then the clouds.
Craig's eyes widened a bit as he looked up towards the ceiling of the sewers.
Craig(mind)….your telling me that you t-two are higher then the clouds? All of them?
Eve(mind):yeah, why did you ask?
Craig:(mind)...that's because your basically higher then 3-30,000 feet above the surface,if not more from where we are standing....
Cammy(mind):I see your impressed by my sharpshooting?
Craig started to shake his head side to side.
Craig(mind):m-more then impressed…
Craig:let's get moving…before the culprit gets away, luckily they haven't heard the gunshots.
Domino seems to have calmed down a-bit.The two started to walk through the sewers in search of the lizard person.
