Memories flooded his mind: his early days as a novice Tenebri, training under Alphonso Remmick, the first Guardian and Kovo. Alphonso's unwavering dedication to the Realm's protection and his unrelenting pursuit of power had inspired Henri.
"The Kovo's strength is not just in their magic, but in their unwavering resolve," Alphonso would say.
Henri's thoughts drifted to Seth, the current Kovo. He remembered the young Tenebri's potential, his unbridled energy, and his capacity for compassion. Seth's journey from a novice to the Realm's strongest warrior was a testament to Henri's guidance.
As Sage, Henri had watched over the Realm, ensuring the balance of power and maintaining the ancient traditions. His advanced age belied his mastery of the shadows, honed through centuries of study and practice.
A soft knock interrupted Henri's reverie. "Enter," he called out.
A young Tenebri, Eira, entered with a bow. "Sage Henri, the Council requests your presence. Concerns about Kovo Seth's prolonged absence are growing."
Henri nodded, rising from his meditation. "I will address the Council. Prepare the chambers."
As he walked, the shadows seemed to whisper secrets in his ear, echoes of Alphonso's legacy. The first Guardian had forged the Realm's defenses, crafting the portals and establishing the Kovo's role as protector.
"The Kovo's strength is the Realm's shield," Henri whispered to himself.
Upon arriving at the Council chambers, Henri surveyed the gathered Tenebri. "We must not doubt Kovo Seth's return. His battle with Steve Nazar will determine the Realm's fate."
Eira stepped forward. "But, Sage Henri, what if he fails?"
Henri's gaze turned stern. "Then we will face the consequences, together. For the Realm, for Alphonso's legacy, and for the Kovo's honor."
The Council nodded, resolute.
As the meeting concluded, Henri retreated to his chambers, lost in thought. The shadows whispered secrets, and he listened, awaiting Seth's return.
