The reason they gave was that they feared unknowingly luring the king to their hideout using her since they were quite unsure of the amount of influence the lycan had over her mind and body.

Once the blindfold was removed from her eyes, she felt an initial sting from the harshness of the sun and immediately shut it right back. After giving herself some time to adjust to the light, the redhead slowly opened it again and got met with large mounted grey rocks standing huge and serving as a kind of shielding entrapment. Upon looking around she realized the place was like a war camp. Everything screamed dread and violence, from the wolves fighting tooth and nails with their claws out and in human forms, to also the men sitting around different tables mixing what seemed like a purplish liquid.
