At 3:00 PM, Brandon and I arrived at our new house. The place turned out to be very spacious, with a tall and sturdy silver-blue fence, while the house itself had a metallic feel and two floors, surrounded by a garden. I still didn't know what was inside.
"I hope you like this house," he said, putting his arm around me. "Maybe it's not as big as my parents' mansion… But it has a very spacious outdoor area because I prefer to have outdoor parties for every important event," he continued.
"You say it's small, but it's huge, taking three hours to clean all the rooms," I replied, imagining the hassle of tidying up such a large house, something I wasn't used to since I had lived in a cramped rental for five years.
Suddenly, he released his arm and turned me to face him, placing his hands on my shoulders.
