Second Life's Revenge

This is a really interesting story with a normal girl striving to not only get revenge, but also improve herself. There are a little twist here and there, which only serves to make the story interesting and will captivate your interest. Writing Quality: Very good with negligible mistakes. Heck, English isn't my first language either and I make even more mistakes than this in my writing. Stability of Updates: Well, just started reading so not sure about it. However, 5* based on good faith and the Author appears serious in keeping steady updates. Story Development: It's good. I like the fact that when she went back to the past, there are changes due to her actions. The butterfly effect is there so essentially, everything is new and different. That is what makes this all the more interesting. Character Design: If you can love and hate a character, then it means a good well done. World Background: I like the world that had been created. At first, I thought it was more of the medieval type, then some fantasy elements were put in. Only thing I was sad about was, instead of drop-dead beautiful and etheral immortal elves, we have the tiny version. No, not the Author's fault. It is this reader who just has an unhealthy obsession with elves. /heh All the best Author.

Writing Quality: 4.5 - I liked how the author wrote, but there wasn't anything special or attention grabbing to it. If you know what I mean. Stability of Updates: 5.0 - I don't really know, so I can't judge. However, by this time a lot of chapters have already accumulated so, a 5.0. Story Development: 3.0 - Cliche. This could have been made up for by the writing quality, but the writing quality isn't really special either. Of course, there are a lot of cliches everywhere not just here but I feel the events in this story are especially dull. Get framed by sis, get friendly with mysterious duke, get chosen by weird god who immediately leaves after giving a voice message, get poisoned, yadayadayada. A bit repetitive, you know? Also a bit fast-paced, but otherwise decent. Character Design: 4.0 - Though I understand what the character is feeling, what does the author want the reader to feel? Should I feel pity, or anger, or sadness, or what? The emotions behind the protagonist are clear and shallow. Some advice: I'm not trying to impose, but it would be better if Laura had more of a specific charming aura to her. Right now, I kinda get the innocent, scared, pitiful rabbit with itty bitty fangs feeling. What does the author want Laura to be like? Ex. Melancholy, dangerous loli, mature charm, lonely and scared, consumed by vengeance - these are all decent examples of a clear character type. Right now Laura gives me an ambiguous kind of feeling. Heck, even Tine's hatred is described better than Laura's emotions. World Background: 4.0 - Satisfactory, but not really described. Basically, the only place I have a clear image of is Laura's orphanage up to Chapter 34, at least. Nowhere else is really described, so that removes some points. Plus, not much info is added about world background either. For example, no history, no elaboration on races, the reader only knows that everyone has not black hair and not purple eyes - except for Laura and that's only because Laura is the protagonist. Otherwise I have a feeling these unique features wouldn't even have been added. So yeah. Not a lot of detail, but filled in well. However, despite how nitpicky and naggy I've been this story is honestly pretty good. It's just that I personally don't appreciate the plot. Our main character goes back in time with the blessing of a mysterious God after being falsely of murder and sentenced to death. Its clear that your supposed to feel bad for Laura and root for her as she gets her revenge on those who wronged her but I had no sympathy for her. She keeps going on and on about how strong, mature and wise she is since she went back in time but she only went back two years. And her big bad trauma was that her tutor and the maids abused her and she wasn't allowed to see her family(the other orphans). I'd originally felt bad until you start to get the details of it all and you realize that all those things happened to her because she allowed it to. She never told her adoptive father that the tutor was beating her, she never tried to speak up about the maids mistreating her and she never made any attempt to get to know anyone. She hid in her room made zero friends and then wanted to act surprised when no one was willing to stick there neck out and defend her. I'm not saying she deserved to be abused no one deserves that but even after going back she still acts as of the world owes her something because something. You are a stranger no one knows yet you still think people are just going to randomly side with you. Laura is a whiny girl who spends her time crying and shouting that the world is Unfair while doing nothing to change it

Wholesome story!! plot is great and great storyline!! I can't wait to see more character development all I just wish for a story of Serena and Winston too :<

Our heroine is awesome the love story is beautiful Friends are awesome The 11th list is an adorable little butt. My only problem with the book is that we don't get enough information on the count's wife we don't get to find out about Laura's parentsAnd we don't get to see the cute baby
