Chương 12: Accident 1
Arijit stared hard at Yu Liang as he saw him talking to someone at the entrance of the hospital. It didn't seem to be him who countered the attack but who knew what he was capable of. He was as cunning as the devil. He showed a smile which he didn't mean, and it was what irked him the most.
"Boss." Brown said as he noticed his boss spacing out which he never did.
"Yes, let's go in." Arijit said and they moved, standing behind their boss.
Yu Liang noticed Arijit coming towards his direction and a wide smile plastered on his face which took the doctor he was talking to by surprise.
"Brother-in-law! What brings you here?" Yu Liang said, and the doctor scrunched his face in confusion. Was Mr Yu married? He didn't know, this was quite some news.
Not wanting to create a scene, Arijit smiled and spoke. "I came to run some tests." Yu Liang stared at him for a while before nodding his head.
"Be careful. I wouldn't want my brother-in-law involving himself in an accident." Yu Liang said and it made Arijit slightly narrow his eyes at him in suspicion.
"Mm." Arijit said with a fake smile as he walked inside the hospital.
Yu Liang stared at his retreating figure and his smile fell. Only he knew how much he hated him, and the same could be told for Arijit. They both hated each other and it was obvious and not hidden, but his personality was a different one from Arijit's.
They were both going to hold a meeting tomorrow and he could only hope it would go well, because it seemed his future brother-in-law had an untamed temper, not that he didn't have a temper of his own.
"Mr Yu? You didn't tell me you were married." The doctor said with a full smile on his face.
"My personal life has nothing to do with you, so you do not need to know anything." Yu Liang said with a faint smile, a smile which didn't reach his eyes, making the doctor smile awkwardly.
"I'll get the work done." The doctor said and Yu Liang nodded, moving away from the hospital's entrance, he walked only to stop and instruct one of his body guard. "I need you to inform me on what happened to Arijit. Get it done, fast."
"Yes Boss!"
Yu Liang was not one to pry into other's life but his soon-to-be brother in-law piqued his curiosity. Looking back at the entrance of the hospital's door, he nodded for his guards to move.
The door was opened and Yu Liang stepped in thinking about his bride-to-be. He had never seen her in person and it only intrigued him on what kind of person she was.
He could only wait, but again patience was something that didn't go well with him, but he'll be this patient for her sake.
The car drove to the Yu's mansion, his suit was taken away by the butler, and instead of going away, he fiddled longer, as if wanting to say something.
"What is it Daniel?" Yu Liang asked with a raised brow.
"Uhmm....boss, S-suraj....."
"As far as I could remember, you never stuttered while talking. What changed during these few hours, hmm?" Yu Liang said with an amused expression on his face but his butler knew well to keep his words limited.
Beads of sweat had started to form on his forehead as he thought of the right words to convey the information to his master.
"Speak. I have no time to spend with you here." Yu Liang spoke and the butler still held an apprehensive look but nonetheless he spoke so he wouldn't get his head blown off, for his master had an untamed temper.
"S-suraj has asked to see you." The butler said with his gaze lowered as soon as he noticed his master's face turning darker than before.
"Where is he?" He asked in a deep menacing voice. The butler gulped with his head still lowered.
"He's in the drawing room Boss." He said and he heard Yu Liang hum. He only hoped he wouldn't spill more blood than he already had, but with his temper it was uncertain to hold such hopes.
"Good, now go back to work. Tell him I'll be there. Give him the best treatment." Yu Liang said and if the butler wasn't scared before, he was now. It was because his boss only gave the 'best treatment' to those who were on his kill list.
"Yes boss!" He said, bowing his head once more. Leaving his boss, who in turn was thinking of the worse possible ways to devour its prey.
A full smile was blown on Yu Liang's face as he thought of what to do with the silly pest. It was entertaining to watch them suffer and plead for mercy before giving them a torturous death. Their cries and pleas was what entertained him the most. It gave him some sort of refreshment, to see them suffer.
His head scheming of ways to get done with the tiny insect, he slowly walked up the stairs with the smile on his face. Some of the maids were surprised to see him smile that much, but they quickly lowered their heads. They didn't want to get into the bad books of their master.
Yu Liang walked to his room, his eyes slightly narrowing, the smile on his face fell as he walked further.
Opening the door to his room, he grinned widely, a short chuckle escaping his lips before his expression became serious.
The room was empty and dimly lit, and if one were to be here with him, they would have tagged him as crazy, not that he'd deny it. He was a crazy person, someone who did weird things out of his own pleasure.
"For someone who had come to seek for forgiveness, you sure are brave." Yu Liang said to a silhouette in the dark.
The silhouette slowly jumped down from the patio, walking slowly towards Yu Liang with probably no smile on his face.
His face coming into light as he stood facing Yu Liang. Yu Liang rolled his eyes for his stupid act of bravery. Some people sure are foolish to come into the wolf's territory unprepared, it would have been entertaining if he came with something up his sleeves.
"And you have some confidence, or should I say pride?" The intruder, Suraj said.
"Hmm, you should lower your pride, you won't be so fortunate every single time." Suraj said and Yu Liang smiled.
"I won't be so unfortunate to die a coward, it is why it's called pride. Tch." Yu Liang said and it flared the other man up.
"You should go while I'm still being nice, now go. Good boy, shoo." Yu Liang said, as though he were talking to a dog and he saw the man's vein pop in anger.
Yes, that was the expression he wanted, one of anger and frustration.
The man swung his gun towards Yu Liang, aiming it on his head. "I've always wanted to kill you, you know."
"It should be enough reason you betrayed me, I had made a mistake of trusting you." Yu Liang said and the man chuckled.
"It clearly shows how stupid you are, for a business man, you can't see through the facade of others. How unfortunate." Suraj said with a fake sad expression.
"Hmm, it's quite unfortunate." Yu Liang said, agreeing to whatever he was saying, it was an entertaining sight. He said in his head.
"I only came here for one thing, and it'll be nice if you co-operated. That is, if you value your life that much." The man shrugged his shoulders.
"Oh, I'm scared of losing my life. Tell me what it is you want." Yu Liang blatantly said which irked the other man. Wasn't he scared at all?
"Release my brother." Suraj said and Yu Liang stared at him before drawling out a laugh. His eyes staring down at the person in front of him, even though they were of the same height.
Chuckling to his heart's content, Suraj looked at him as if in confusion, had he gone mad? Why the sudden laugh then?
Yu Liang stopped laughing as his gaze turned serious. His red eyes staring at the idiot in front of him.
"You must be a delusional fool for you to think I'd release him just for some mere threat. How foolish!" Yu Liang said with a kind smile but the other man knew he was nowhere kind.
