Chương 1: The First Day-Ch.1

It was the first day of your new school. You've moved schools so many times that it was normal to have people rushing to be your friend and you would always block them out, but the one time you actually are staying in one place for a while no one wants you. Maybe your unapproachable. Your teachers asked you about yourself but nothing else.

" What a odd day. " you chirped to yourself when you got out of your forth class of the day. It was lunch now. You walked in and look around desperate for a table to sit at. A blonde haired boy with a very blackened eye spoke out standing close to the door "What the hell happened to your arm?" he looks at you expectantly for an answer.

"It was really bad road rash, I got in a motorcycle accident with my dad when I was younger. "You tell him somewhat oversharing hoping he would find your incident interesting and become your friend. You flex your scarred arm a little at him. He looks pleased at your answer and walks away with his lunch tray.

You take a long walk instead of going to lunch not wanting to sit with no-one there. Your day finishes after what feels like forever and you head for the long walk to your new home.

You now live in Addison apartments you thought maybe you'd find someone in your school that lives there too. So you started out on your search your mom kicked you out for the day because she invited her boyfriend over, one of the reasons you moved here was so she could be closer to him. Your mom has had boyfriends in the past but none of them 'treated her right' and that means she couldn't get anymore money out of them. This boyfriends different though they've been dating for a few months and he still brings her flowers and checks for rent and other things. Even though there's a big age gap you hope they stay together for a while more he's bought a lot of your new clothes and he is kind to you o you don't mind giving them an evening alone.

You lived on the second floor room 203 so you went to the first floor to start. You knocked on 104 no answer. You knocked on 103 and a man pulled up his peep slot, "Hello new comer of Addison apartments resident of 203, I'm Mr. Addison I own the apartment complex. How may I be of service?

"Hi, I'm y/n I live here with my mom. I'm just trying to get a look around and meet the people here."

"Yes your mother Jennifer is quite polite. Oh I do believe you would get along with the other young residents, especially Sal and Larry they are very nice boys."

"Well I'm going try and find them then, bye."

"Goodbye for now! Let me know if you need anything at all friend."

Sal and Larry... okay I have to find them. You meet almost all the residents that were home or that would answer the door. You met a red haired boy named Todd, he is very intelligent and was talking about honors classes this year at school. Your definitely not as smart as him but could probably keep up with him in some topics he talks about.

You met a green haired boy named chug who told you about some creepy stuff on the 5th floor and that the good vending machine is in the basement. You didn't really believe in ghosts and stuff and wanted to see for yourself.

"Ew, it smells disgusting up here." You went to last door on the right and knocked and it slowly creaked open. "I'm going to get murdered up here or possessed," You mumbled. You looked around the bedroom door was locked tight a bolted on the frame. "No ones getting in there with out a key." You think.

You opened the bathroom door to find a faint silhouette of a little kid. You look around at the moldy bathroom and knew that wasn't safe for a child.

"Hey are you..." She wasn't there anymore. You didn't know where she was but if she's playing hide and seek without asking, you were NOT gonna seek for that creepy ass kid.

After leaving the creepiest floor of your life you hop in the elevator to the 2nd floor but when you get out you see what looks like to be a custodian so you go up to her and start a conversation. Her name is Lisa and Larry is her son. She told you about the mall in the town and the arcade. She also told you Larry and Sal was in his apartment at 403.

You jump in the elevator once again and head off. You feel like you have been doing this all day and its somewhat exhausting. You walk up to the door take a deep breathe and knock. A person with light blue pig tails and a mask opens the door. You wanna know why they wear that mask, you wanna know their story and you wanna be their friend.

"Hi I'm Y/n, Lisa told me to come up and introduce myself!"

"Oh uh cool I'm Sal, but my friends call me Sally Face." He speaks at muted tone due to his mask, but your not gonna ask how he got it. A tall big nosed boy with long brown hair walks up behind him. Gosh his hair is a mess, it looks so good on him though. "And this is Larry, Lisa is his mom."

"What's up dude! Why'd you move to Nockfell?" He says in a somewhat scruffy voice he must smoke or maybe he's just going through puberty.

You tell them both all the reasons you've moved here, you tell them your 'story' and they tell you parts of theirs.

*****2 hours later*****

"Hey, do you believe in ghosts?" Sal asked curiosity not showing on his mask.

"Yeah for sure." You say.

"Good me and Larry want to show you something on the 5th floor."

"I'm not going up there again."

"You've been up there?" Larry said in amazement.

"Yeah it's creepy as hell and it's haunted."

"Wait you've seen Megan?" Said Sal.

"So that's the little girls name."

"I don't believe either of you." Said Larry with an anxious laugh.

"Never mind if you know about Megan I really don't need to show you it then."

"Hey Ashely's going to be here in a few minutes she just got done babysitting Ben." Larry said looking at his flip-phone.

"Is that one of your friends?" You ask.

"Yeah we're really close..." said Sal shyly.

"He has a crush on her doesn't he?" You think tugging around at your thoughts.

"You can stick around to meet her if you want us and Todd are just trying to figure something about school food."

"Well that sounds SO interesting."

There were knocks on the door.

"Looks like their here," Larry said while opening the door.

Todd and a really pretty girl walk in, "That's Ashley?!" You say in your head.

"Hey guys, who's this?" Ash says happy to see another girl besides her.

"That's y/n, she just moved here." Said Todd remembering that you met earlier that day.

"You were talking to Travis earlier in the cafeteria! I hope he wasn't rude to you he's an absolute asshole." said Ashley.

"What did he say to you?" Asked Sally almost immediately.

"He was asking what happened with my arm, he actually wasn't that mean, just curious I think."

"I thought he was trying to recruit you to his church." Ash said giggling. She had a beautiful laugh.

"Don't go to that church, like ever." Said Larry almost as a hazard.

"Is it a cult? "you jokingly ask.

"How did you know?" Asked Sal. Everyone laughed at that, you did too thinking it was a joke.

"I should get going I don't want to invade on your lunch meat experiment."

Everyone said their goodbyes and you walk out hoping you made a good impression.

You try to open the door to your moms apartment and it's locked and you hear giggling on the other side. "Damn I wish I brought my key." You mumble to yourself.
