John lifted his head, a mischievous smile visible beneath his Asura mask. "To be honest, the Key of the Saint is of no use to Kingserp, a player from the Chaotic Evil faction. It's a waste in his hands. We might as well make good use of it, don't you think?"

The realization finally dawned on them: John intended to snatch the Key of the Saint from Kingserp. 

According to the game's setting, the two factions had been mortal enemies for millennia, lacking a direct route of passage between them. 

For Kingserp to return to the Dark Realm on the other side of Sunset Mountain, he would have to walk to the edge of the mountain and use a player-specific teleportation point there.
