Ezekihel's Point Of View
I was laying in bed wrapped up snugly in Meyhymn's arms. He had bathed me meticulously, but I still felt dirty and unclean. My mind was stuck in a nightmarish loop of unwanted memories, and I just felt like crying.
"Ezekihel... I'm sorry I wasn't there for you..." Meyhymn whispered softly into my ear.
His apology only made me want to cry more. He had done everything right, and I was still dragged back to that hellish facility. To make matters worse, he had witnessed what was being done to me as well. I didn't even know how to respond to his apology. I just knew I didn't want to think about anything anymore.
"Will you forgive me?" Meyhymn asked.
"There is nothing to forgive, because you did nothing wrong. I can't be by your side 24/7 and you did everything you could think of to protect me. Not to mention, you came to my rescue in the end." I said, turning over in his arms to look at him.
