20.4% Royal life is such a hassle I want to be a normal girl / Chapter 10: Sure, sure. Go and have fun

Chương 10: Sure, sure. Go and have fun

Astin looked everywhere and made sure she didn't leave anything precious. In fact, apart from the normal clothes she bought that day, she didn't pack anything else. Well, except for some jewelries she was planning to pawn for money for emergency situations, she didn't need anything else.

"Felix?" Astin called.

"Yes, your highness?" He answered.

"Book us a train ticket." She ordered and he looked at her puzzled.

"But why train, your highness?" He inquired.

"That way, if ever they want to track our whereabouts, they'd have no clue because buying train tickets doesn't need data information, understand?" She asked and Felix nodded. "Now with a new identity, we'll live a completely normal life, don't you want that?" She asked but he gave no reply. "I presume you know what I'm talking about. The fake identity cards show that we're all siblings and my name's no longer Astin but Krystal. Isn't it pretty?" She smiled but Quinella felt awful in a way. She looked up at her big brother who had no facial expression at all.

"But what about your hair? You look nothing like us." Quinella chipped in.

"For now, I don't. Let's just wait till tomorrow." She winked and got up. "Felix, secretly get these bags to the truck. We don't want anyone finding out we're leaving." She warned.

"Yes, your highness." He bowed.

"I'll help!" Quinella suggested and he shot her a cold gaze.

"Just don't expose us on the way." He said coldly and turned, taking two bags, while Quinella took the last one looking sad.

Astin watched then leave and shook her head.

"Felix is so hard to read! If I didn't know about what he did for his sister in my past life, now I would probably conclude that he hates her but he actually loves her dearly. He just doesn't know how to express himself and puts on a poker face every now and then." She sighed. "I'll have to talk to him about that."

Astin left her room and went to her grandfather's study room to see if any work had piled up within the last hours but there were only few. She wanted to do a bit to relieve her grandfather's stress, so he'd live without worry. She looked at the picture frame and an idea popped in her head.

The next morning, when having breakfast, Astin handed a letter over to Frederick. He attempted to open it but she stopped him.

"Promise me you'll open it in lunch time?" She requested.

"Fine, fine, fine." He grudgingly accepted, mumbling words to himself which made her laugh. "What's in it anyway?"

"You'll see." She winked. "By the way, I'm heading out after the meal."

"Sure, sure, go and have fun." He said waving it aside and she smiled. Just as she had expected. After eating, she got up and hugged him before leaving.

After a few hours, Frederick was anxious. He decided to open the letter and take a peek at its contents. But his excitement fell and he frowned upon seeing what was written.

"Sorry, grandfather, I'm going out to explore and may never come back. The throne's not just suited for me. Hand it over to any of my uncles, okay? I love you. P.S: I took the picture in your study!"

Frederick was boiling with anger. He yelled,

"Everyone, spread out and find her!" But it was too late.

Astin, Quinella and Felix alighted from the train and she smiled.

"World, here I come!" She announced.

Astin, now known as Krystal stared at the mirror. She was at the salon and had gotten a whole new look. She couldn't believe she was the same person after the makeover. Her long wavy hair had been cut short and now straight.

Her shiny silver-white hair had been dyed black. She couldn't do a thing about her golden eyes, didn't want to wear contacts either, so she wore light brown glasses. Almost the color of gold.

Felix had a surprised expression. One that you don't get to see everyday. He couldn't believe thus was the same woman as the princess, there were no similarities.

"Prin..." Quinella wanted to say princess with all the excitement but was interrupted.

"Ahem!" Kristal cleared her throat loudly and she immediately understood. Krystal looks so different and extraordinary.

"It's a pity for the silver hair though, it was pretty." The hairdresser said in regret. "You don't see natural silver hair these days."

"Please, it will grow back and the dye would probably wash off in a matter of months. Then I'll need you to redo." Kristal said with an appreciative smile and the hairdresser smiled back.

"Name's Mal. When you come around, call my name and they'll know its me." Mal said and Krystal nodded.

"Thank you!" Krystal said and got up. "Now who's up for that passport?"

They took the passport and pasted it on the fake identity cards as well as other folios. They now belonged to Asia not Britain.

Krystal was surprised when she got to know that Felix and Quinella were Asian citizens by birth, but Britain by blood. They understood their language so well, so she didn't need to interpret, since she understood as well - language lessons.

The three of them settled in China, where the population was very high. She had asked them.

"Where's the first place to search for a runaway princess?" She asked.

"Small hamlets, villages, towns, small settlements." Felix answered.

"Exactly!" She exclaimed and grinned. "That's why we're doing the contrary. This runaway princess is going to survive in the big city."
