Chương 5: Prison Break
After a little bit of running around, Shiro and Lilith arrive at the front entrance of the Black Council.
"So what's the plan, are we just going to rush right in there and give ourselves unwanted attention." Shiro says quietly.
"No we are going to sneak in there are you dumb."
Lilith points at the left of the building.
"Around that corner there should be a side entrance, we can use that to sneak in. We just need to take out the guards at the front of the gate first." Lilith explains.
Shiro looks over at the guards, and looks back at Lilith.
"There are only two guards at the front. We can easily knock them out."
"Once we are inside, we should head straight forward. That would lead us to the main lobby."
Lilith reaches into her pocket and gives Shiro a mask.
"Wear this if something goes wrong. We don't want to expose our appearance so they hunt us down."
Shrio proceeds to grab the mask and puts it on his pant waist.
"Let's do this, I will distract them, you will go around the left when I give you the signal."
Lilith starts to walk up to the guards.
"Can you please guards help me? I just came to this town and I have no idea where I am."
"Lady, you can't be here. This is private property. I will have to ask you to leave." The knight says.
"Please I just need someone to point me in the right direction."
Lilith points to the right of her giving the signal for Shrio to move left.
"You are in the royal section, and you don't belong here. So you must leave, or I wont think twice to throw you in jail."
"Oh really, that won't ever happen because you see." Lilith proceeds to punch the guard on her right. With such a force knocking him out
"Intru..!" The other guard gets knocked out by Shiro right before he could call out.
"Help me drag these bodies to the bushes," Lilith says.
They proceed to drag the two bodies into the bush next to the gate.
"Use his clothes, we are going to use these so we can sneak in."
"How indecent.." Shiro says.
"Don't complain, we are doing this for a greater good."
"Right…?" Shiro muttered.
They both begin to put on the black uniform, with a hat and belt that has a Black Council inscription. The Black Council logo was pretty simple, it was just a B and C on top of each other with a circle.
The sounds of guards can be heard talking in the distance. Coming closer the guards spot the two.
"What are you two doing, you should be guarding the front entrance." The guard says.
"Actually we just got off the clock." Lilith says.
"Oh really… Okay then. Just make sure not to leave your position early before the others arrive." The guards proceed to walk out through the gate.
"Let's get going, we don't have much time."
Shiro nods his head and they both run over to the side entrance of the building.
"Not many guards are here today, why is that," Shiro says.
"You didn't know, today is Ishi's speech."
"Who is that?' Shiro says.
"The government leader of this city, how do you not know that." Lilith says confused
'A lot has changed since I was gone.'
"So was this all part of a backup plan or something?"
"Yup, I got to say I love how convenient this is." Lilith says looking impressed with herself. "We should get going now."
They both soon enter the Black Council and make their way down the hall to the front entrance.
"Are they really not going to notice us? I feel pretty obvious." Shiro says.
"I'm not sure, but if they do I can just beat them up."
"Why do you want to fight them so bad, aren't they protecting this city."
"The Black Council, you really think they are protecting this city?" Lilith says seriously. "How naive are you. The Black Council has control of so many cities and they don't do shit but try to make money off everyone. I haven't seen them "Guards" do anything but cause trouble."
"What about the White Order, they are this city's personal knights."
"The White Order has been taken over by the Black Council for more than 8 months." Lilith says with a concerned face. "Ever since Ishi has been put as the leader.. Things have changed. I feel he is working for the Black Council."
"What is so wrong with the Black Council." Shiro says.
"Do I have to explain this again, are you stupid?" Lilith says annoyed. "They don't do anything, they always jail innocent people, enslave demons, they are just here for profit. If an attack happened here, they would probably cower away."
"I am not sure if I really can trust you since you are in the works with a traitor and a demon, but I will just have to see all of this for myself."
"Do whatever you want, I am not asking you to believe me."
They then both approach the main entrance. Wide open space, white walls with big pillars. Directly in front of the front entrance they could have taken, you can see a desk with a man sitting at it. He wore the Black Council uniform, and had black hair with green eyes. The two walk towards the door across from them to where the prison cells are.
"What are you two doing here," The man says.
"We are just heading to the prison cells." Lilith says
"Yes, and why aren't you already there." He says with a look of suspicion on his face.
"We actually had to go to the bathroom."
"You went at the same time? The man says.
"Yes.?"
"Okay, just make sure next time you both don't go at the same time. Now get back to your post or I will drop your pay." The man yells.
The two enter through the door not looking back at the man.
The man waiting for them to leave then proceeds to look behind him at a black figure.
"Follow them." He says
"The cells should be up ahead." Lilith says happily. "Let's hurry."
"So what's the plan once we break the two out." Shiro says
"Two? We are going to rescue everyone here."
"Everyone?! I didn't sign up for a prison break like this." Shiro says with anger.
"Well if you want to go back you can, but it will only bring more suspicion on yourself either way."
"Tsk, fine I will help you. I better be getting something out of this though." Shiro implies.
"Yes of course, because your kind heart can't just do something for free, huh?"
"I do what I want, and as things stand I don't have much reason to trust you. So back o."
Lilith puts her arm in front of Shiro to stop him suddenly.
"Why did yo..."
"Shh. We are being followed." Lilith whispers.
"By who."
"I don't know, but he seems dangerous." Lilith says. "Let's hurry."
Shiro and Lilith proceed to enter the prison block. The cells were in the ground with a small hole that can barely squeeze one person through. They held a few imprisoned demons and humans inside each one.
"Wow! There are a lot of prisoners here." Shiro says. "What is this place? It doesn't look like a normal cell."
Lilith turns around and looks at Shiro.
"This is where they store all the people who go against the government. Everyone here is wrongly placed in here and never to be seen again. Now help me break them out."
"As I thought, I mean it was pretty obvious from the start." A black figure can be seen approaching from behind.
"Who are you?!" Lilith says.
The black figure soon approached them out of the shadow. He was pretty tall and young looking man in his 20s. He wore a white uniform unlike the normal black ones with a black cape. He had a white sword on his side. The figure had dark blue hair with grey eyes.
"Me? Well first I am here to stop you. Second, you should know me as the fourth ranking officer of this place, Ace."
"Ace, I have never heard of you." Lilith says.
"Well I do spend all my time here. It is quite boring. I wish they would let me have some fun, but this should do!
He proceeds to pull out his sword and it starts to glow red.
"Hurry, you help the prisoners escape, I will fight him!" Lilith yells.
Shiro starts to run over to one of the holes.
"No, no no, I won't let you do what you want here!. Ace yells playfully.
You can then see his hand start glowing red with a magic circle in front of it.
[Hells Breath] A ball of flame comes flying at Shiro. Lilith rushes in front instantly, a kanata materializes out of nowhere. Her sword glowing green, then a magic circle appears that deflects the attack. The ball gets sent off in the distance blowing a huge hole in the wall leading outside.
"Wow, great job deflecting that. This is going to be more fun than I thought." Ace says playfully.
"Hurry, get them out!" Lilith yells.
Shiro proceeds to pry open the cell with his hands but nothing seemed to work. '
Sitting there in his thoughts. "Oh that would work," Shiro says.
Inscriptions begin to surround his right hand and arm with a light blue glow.
[Enhance: Strength] He then winds up and punches the ground. Dust appears all around him and what can be seen was a huge opening in the ground.
"Whoa, that kid got some power." Lilith says.
"Why are you looking away from our battle, do you want to die that bad." Ace says seriously.
'I am going to need to finish this quick'
Lilith charges at Ace with her katana clashing with Ace's sword.
"Is that all you got." Ace yells.
Ace's sword starts to glow red. He deflects Lilith' attack leading into another attack instantly.
[Hells slice] A line of fire comes flying at Lilith.
Lilith puts her hand out and materializes a green magic circle.
[Winds talons] Multiple big looking talons of wind come shooting out passing right through the fire piercing a small hold into his right leg.
"Tsk, a wind type user. What a terrible match up."
"They are all out!" Shiro yells.
"Great now just go, I will hold him off."
"What, I am not going to just leave you here." Shiro says.
"What? Do you happen to care for a traitor now?" Lilith says with a sarcastic face.
"No, I jus."
"Can you two stop talking already." Ace says with anger.
He then proceeds to rush at Shiro, getting blocked again by Lilith.
"Go!" Lilith yells.
Shiro nods his head and leads Dion, the warbeast, and all the people and demons out of the hole Ace created.
'I probably shouldn't have left a guy like that with demons, but what do I do. I am most like going to die here.'
"Now I am angry!" Ace charges up his sword again making it glow with a bright red. A magic circle appeared on his stomach and he stabbed himself. He then pulled out the sword. No wounds on his stomach at all, the sword can be seen glowing black and red.
"What the hell kind of weapon is that." Lilith says looking disgusted.
"Not that I should tell you, but these swords are made for high ranking officers in the Black Council." Ace says with a happy and sadistic look on his face. "For why I have one, well I stole it obviously, and I have been dying to test it out!"
He proceeds to charge up his sword with more intense red and black flames coming out of it.
[Demon Blade: Hells Slash] A huge slash bigger then 8ft comes out of the blade heading towards Lilith.
[Winds Shield] wind starts to push forward with intensity.
"Fuck!!" Lilith screams in desperation.
The wind barely pushing the black fire back wasn't enough. Lilith soon lost all control and the black flames slash right through her chest and stomach. Not causing a clean cut from the wind pushing back the flames.
She drops to the floor bleeding out fast.
Ace then sheaths his sword.
"Tsk, I can't believe I let them damn demons get away. I am going to never hear the end of this one."
He proceeds to walk back through the door, leaving the room empty.
Some time passes.
"You can go back and check on her." Dion says. "I know where to hide them."
"Ok, I guess I will do that." Shiro says
Shiro starts running back the where the battle took place. He runs back through the hole to see a body laying there.
"No way…" He rushes over to the body. He looks at the huge slice on her stomach. "She got hurt pretty bad. The wound, she is bleeding out fast."
He puts his head on her chest to listen for a heartbeat.
"Good she has a heartbeat, but it's slowing down. I need to somehow heal this, but I don't possess any of my magic in this form."
He starts to think really hard on what to do.
"UGH, I can't just leave her like this she is going to die, but I really don't want to go back to "that" form."
'Why should I even do this for a girl I barely know, but if I don't save her will I even be considered human'
He sits there indecisive. Not knowing if he cares enough.
"Fine, I will do it just this once!"
He proceeds to take off the necklace around his neck. A magic circle appears and what appears is a petite little girl wearing a gothic outfit with long silver hair with a small red and black flower hair clip. She had red ruby colored eyes.
She then approaches Lilith on the ground and puts her small hands on her chest.
[Blood: Mend] A red glow appears with blood coming out. Seeping into Lilith wounds, and in an instant they disappear.
"Wonderful, it worked like a charm." Yui says.
She then proceeds to get back up onto her feet.
Lilith starts to move, waking up. She looks at the vampire girl barely seeing her.
Yui notices that she saw her and runs away. Passing right through the hole in the wall.
'Did she see me?'
"A vampire? Who was that," Lilith says, barely being able to stand up. She then looks down at her wound. "Did that girl heal my wound?"
Shiro then appears, running through the hole to Lilith.
"Are you okay?" Shiro says.
"So you ended up coming back for me anyways." Lilith says with a smile. "So you aren't as bad as I thought."
She then starts to fall over, not being able to stand from the pain in her stomach.
Shiro runs over to hold her up.
"Take it easy." Shiro says. "How did you manage to get out of that alive?"
"I didn't, a vampire came and healed me. Did you happen to see her?"
"No, I Didn't see anyone."
Lilith looked at him with suspicion, but remembered there is no way he would control himself if he saw a vampire.
"Well I wish I could thank her, she really saved my life."
"A vampire saving your life. No way a demon would do that." Shiro says
"You are as stupid as ever. I know what I saw." Lilith pushes Shiro away and starts to walk towards the exit.
"Lets meet up with the others." Lilith waves at Shiro, suggesting he follow. "I know where he lead them."
"Why should I stay with you guys."
"Do you have a choice, they know your face now. I would suggest you stay with us even if you hate us."
Shiro groans but ends up following her anyway.
