"That was you, right? Those were your memories..."
The small phoenix moved its head up and down slightly and let out a weak cry.
"Your name is Oriane, then. I see you had quite the journey. "
Siegfried then felt a mental connection again, but this time He was not brought into a dream world, instead, information started to appear in his mind.
"What is this?"
Some of the parts were familiar to him after all his years of experience cultivating.
"This is...a cultivation technique!"
The amount of information was incredibly vast. The cultivation technique that the Phoenix was sharing with him was extremely complex.
Finally, the stream of information stopped and Siegfried had a chance to put his mind in order once more.
"Revolving Phoenix: Nine Realms Pure Yang body... that's quite the technique, I have never seen anything like this before."

Siegfried looked at the Phoenix.
"Why are you giving me something so valuable? What do you need for me." He could not help but think after giving him something so incredible, it must want a favor of equal value.

The little phoenix then dropped to the ground and closed its eyes.

This new cultivation technique works by converting all natural energy into pure yang energy.
Elemental energy is just a very wide term. It had other names like divine energy, chi, qi, natural force, etc.
The one constant was that this energy was everywhere in the world, it coated the air like a mantle.
Everyone would absorb small amounts of this energy in their bodies from the moment they were born. Animals and plants will also do the same. This was an automatic process and most people were not even aware that this was happening.
Those who call themselves cultivators would make use of special techniques to absorb great amounts of this energy into their bodies in order to gain strength that could surpass human limits.
As time passed, cultivation knowledge grew. Eventually, some people discovered that Elemental energy was not that simple. It wasn't all the same, instead, it contained many types of different energies within. All of them weaved together would form what we called Elemental energy.
Many types of energy were identified and branches were formed. The most important ones we know as:
-Ying: It represents purity and feminity but also cold, water, and spirit.
-Yang: it encompasses many things, like light, sun, or fire. But it also affects male virility.
Earth: It could be used to invoke the wrath of the earth itself, to manipulate metals, who are the children of the earth. And if also could be used to heal, for the earth is life.
Heaven: The skies are limitless, and the energy of heaven can be used to invoke wind and lightning.
People would actually absorb only one of the many energy types, leaving the rest untouched.
Whichever energy type you use would depend on your personal affinity or the cultivation technique you were using.
In his past life, He has always cultivated Yang-type techniques. And in this life, it seems like his affinity remains the same.
Cultivating Yang's energy, however, comes with some side effects. In the rare cases of women cultivating a Yang-type technique, this is not much of an issue. But when a man does it, the side effects are a lot more potent since Yang energy represents male virility among other things.
To put it simply, yang energy can be used as a way to arouse sexual instincts and increase performance.
Normally, this is something that can be countered with discipline and self-control. Especially for someone experienced like Siegfried who has lived for many decades.
However, the new cultivation technique that He is using is on a whole other level. During the process of cultivating it, all elemental energy is converted into yang and then refined and purified to utmost perfection.
This was a new concept for him. Not only transforming one energy type into another but also refining it even further.
This, of course, makes cultivation a lot more effective and powerful but it also increases all side effects.
