Chương 1: Chapter 1: Waking Up.
Rocky, warm and humid.
Those were the sensations I had felt when I had woken up in some place i don't know
I couldn't see anything,
It was all just pitch black, but more importantly, something happened to me.
Just a few moments ago I felt....heavenly, sensational even, but why did it felt that way?
I know that the last thing I remembered was-
*Tire Screeching* *Crash* *Fwoosh* *Thud*
Right.....I got hit by a truck, I was just walking on the roadside when I got hit by a strong impact from behind.
I remembered all the sounds and sensations I had felt prior to waking up, from the Tire screeching, to the initial impact all the way to me going forward due to the force of the impact transferring to me.
Everthing in my immediate surroundings felt slow, like a cinematic moment, which wasn't too far off if we were to base it off of the things i was feeling at that moment
It was indeed painful and yet it also felt liberating, like I was finally free from something, whatever that was.
The low heat from orange sunset with it's light shining in front of me, and almost blinding my eyes as I was forced to stare at it.
'My pet's, what's gonna happen to them?', I thought worried.
'I don't have any friends who share the same love i had for my reptilian companions'
'Dang, It's sucks to die that way, I even took a backshot huh?' I try to amuse myself with idle thoughts of the memes i used to watch and read when I was still alive.
'Well, where the hell am i?, is this the afterlife?' I thought as I moved my head around, trying to discern my surroundings, if there is one.
I tried to get a feeling of my body, see if there's anything wrong with it, and as I was doing that, I saw something
A small light ahead just up ahead.
I instinctively moved towards it, I mean anyone would, right?
'somethings feels off here, my body's got a bit of a weird feeling to it' I thought but i didn't dwell on it too much
I then noticed something even weirder.
'What the? Why am i walking in all fours?' I thought to myself, completely puzzled, so I tried to stand up, "Hrrrrrnngggggh, don't i feel a bit heavy?" I said, complaining a bit however, that was when I heard low growling and cooing, with a little bit of hissing sound to it.
My spine tingled in fear, all my alarm bells were ringing, my pessimistic brain immediately begun to think of a conclusion at lightspeed.
'There's something in here with me!!!' I screamed in my mind
"Holy shiiit!!!" I heard the sounds again, but this time, it was now a full blown roar, which for some reason I could understand and had a strange familiarity to it, but I immediately threw that thought away since having been startled by the sounds of whatever animal was inside the dark place with me, made me do a mad dash towards the light, because my life definitely depended on it, even though I might already be dead.
'Shit, shit , shit, whatdaheck was that?!!' I kept screaming on my mind, hoping to hype up my brain into giving me more dopamine
Immediately reaching the light, I pounced outside, which was sort of a bad idea because it temporarily blinded me
"Gaaahhhkkk, My Eyes!!!!" I heard the roar again
I tried covering my face, specifically my eyes to get my eyes to acclimate from the blinding light oustide, It was effective, but I didn't stop running.
I quickly let my eyes get used to the light, creating a small opening through my fingers whilst turning my head around, looking for a spot to hide, but when my eyes returned their vision, I was stunned.
My eyes feasted on the magical landscape around me, I was high up on top of something from what I could tell.
A thick forest and green fields in the surroundings assaulted my eyes.
It was beautiful, so beautiful that it stopped me from thinking about whatever was chasing me.
I liked it, this was a completely new sensation.
A gust of wind blew me out of my dazed state
"Woah" I spoke, but all I heard coming out of my mouth were animalistic sounds.
"What the?" I spoke again, hearing my "voice", even though it sounded like some kind of animal, I could somehow understand it.
"Wait, is this my voice?" I look down on my body, and then my arms, scaly and pitch black, with sharp claws mounted on my hands.
"WHAT THE?!!!, WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO ME??!!!"
