Chương 29: 2.11 The baiter being baited

Cillian sneaked into his room and took a shower. He couldn't help but be worried about Esdras. He knows how close to Tobias he was so he must be upset. When he entered this world he couldn't understand why it would collapse after his death so he did some research and found out.

In the original timeline after Asher and Jude married not long after Esdras died of a mysterious death. As soon as he did the vampires went to war with the humans. Millions of people died and there were losses on both sides since the humans had developed weapons in case there was war again against vampires.

When the vampires saw that the humans had developed powerful weapons they decided to use biochemical weapons since they were immune to them. The humans then use bombs until in the end the only thing left was ashes.
