"oh Lisha my love finally you have come back"said a young man he was handsome and seemed to be the same age as he went in for a hug but his expectations were broken as she moved to the side allowing him to go forward veins bulged on his as he was disgraced by this girl.
"i hope this ruffian brought you no harm"said the young man as he had calmed down and points at Ryan"look at him such insolence"the young man said as he went forward while walking round Ryan.
Ryan had enough with his attitude but thinking through he decided to let everything play out as the young man then steps on his leg Ryan still kept his composure staring at the young man was angry again'how could he a lowly worm stare at me with those eyes'as he then punched Ryan with a smile as he took two steps back the young man was left with a wide open mouth'i at the peak of silver rank can not kill a worm like him'the young man thought.
He then steps back as anxiety could be seen on his face he knew that his level was way lower than his he then had a grim expression,Ryan who had been thoroughly insulted wanted to rampage when he immediately sensed a presence he then looked at the people on the dining table"w-what chloe"Ryan blurted out looking at his room mate looking at the person standing beside her"professor Rose"Ryan let out again when he could then see a middle aged man around the same age as the king sitting beside her"oh he seems to know you"the middle aged man said with a raised brown"he is Ryan the former star of Azure"she said with an unemotional face"so this brute and shameful worm is the person i wanted to pair you with i really was blind"the middle aged man said in disgust.
The king then stood up as he then walked up to Ryan two guards then hurried to his side"set this man right"with that Ryan was punched in gut as he then received continuous beating,the reason for Ryan not trying to protect him self was because he could see the look in both Chloe and professor Rose's eyes'do they hate me'was the question Ryan received as he was getting beat up badly.
Now Ryan was on his knees as they were no light in them Ruby was in tears seeing Ryan beat like that while Layla seemed to be smiling'keke at last i could not get enough of that his stupid behavior'she thought Ryan raised his head looking at her she then paused smiling as her facial expression changed'this boy he....'Layla had finally figured she had thought he was too weak but that was not the issue as the look in his eyes were different they were eyes of pain and regrets.
Then the three men four clones Ryan had made seemed to have have been mistaken for death as they had brought their head throwing it to Ryan.
Something shocking then happened tears flowed out of Ryan's eyes!,even Chloe in her monotone expression had paused before looking the same way, looking at the ground Ryan thought'my life this world everything on it is meant to be destroyed no one deserves to live no one'Ryan thought as light glinted in his eyes.
"hmm that should be enough take him out of my castle but leave that girl"the king said as the guards had intended to move forward but they stopped in place as maniac like aura was let out they knew death awaited them if they went forward as Ryan had taken Ruby and left.
He opens his palm as his clones had dissolved to blood an were entering his palm he then reached the gate as when they passed one of the guard had harassed her by touching her butt as tear's gushed out of her as she knew they was nothing she could do hit Ryan stopped held the guards arm using his dagger he slashed at his shoulder cutting off his whole arm the man screamed in pain as Ryan then left the scene with Ruby.
On the way they were receiving stares and the look they had was disgust going to the quest place he had come to before he had told the man that he had completed the quest but they had told him he needs evidence opening his ring he brought out something that was rapped and opening it a minotaur's head could be seen how did he get it? Lisha had given it to him to keep as it was he who killed it.
The quest giver was shocked as everyone her had stopped talking they could sense the aura from the head and could tell it really was a shadow beast but how did he kill it,Ryan had collected his price of 50 gold coins as the first thing he did was buy clothing then went to an inn to rest as Ryan laid down he had his eyes closed so did Ruby too, they had shared the same room since Ruby insisted as she did not want to spend all his money.
The next day had come and Ryan had told Ruby that he had wanted to train her going to a weapons shop they had bought her an emperor tier sword as they then went to the forest to train.
Slashing at Ryan with all her might Ruby then moved to the right quickly slashing at Ryan before leaping back and then like lightning she then leaped forward slashing down at him,"hmmm good you picked up the pace"Ryan said while looking at her "so now we are going to teach you how to use mana since yours is plenty but you can not focus it"sitting in a meditating posture he placed his hand on her stomach as he then put a little bit of mana"now focus on that energy and try moving it about your body"he said as she did so he then told her to try and gather more as she quickly grabbed on to it.
"it seems you are a fast learner"Ryan said smiling at her as the training was then said to be over they then proceeded to go back.
"ummm can i tell you something"Ruby said as her face was red raising a brow he said "go on"as she seemed to shy to say it"c-can i call you big brother"she said looking away as she was too shy hearing this Ryan smiled at her saying"of course."
