Chương 218: Devil's Playtime
The gates of the underworld have opened and with it comes the end of an era.

"Hey shadow dude." Grim called out as the roots of Qilphoth continued to grow without any sign of stopping. "You good?"
"Huh?"
Unlike Nacht who had to use [Devil Union] to see what was going on, Grim's passive [Hyper Focus] not only allowed him to sense everything that was going on in much greater detail than Nacht's [Heavenly Eye], he was even able to sense the micro fluctuations in the mana belonging to all the beings beyond the gate.
'Woah, the first layer of the underworld has quite the number of devils in it.'
As for their power levels? It was quite a bit higher than the average human. No wonder everyone feared the opening of the underworld. If the average devils from the first layer were this strong, how strong were the devils located further down?
"You!" The veins in Nacht's eyes almost burst when he caught sight of the happy go lucky white haired demon slayer.
"Do you have any idea what you've done! " He seethed clenching his fists tightly. "I knew you were insane, but this is too much! You've doomed us all!"
"Woah woah, calm down." Grim joked. "You're talking like the world's about to end or something."
"It is!!"
"Heh. Oh yeah~"
"You... You don't even care."
*Shrugs*
"It is what it is."
"It is what it is..." Nacht repeated unable to believe what he was hearing.
"You! You're not human!"
Staring at him with eyes full of mockery, Grim grinned.
"What gave it away? Was it the ears?"
*FWOOOM!!*
"Huh-"
"What-"
'This mana... So they're finally here.'

Back in the castle...
"Hahahahahahaha!!" Dante laughed as blood spurted out of his freshly made wounds. "Entertain me more!!"
"SHUT UP!!"
With translucent green blades growing out of every corner of his body, Jack spun in the air like a certain blue hedgehog and shot out countless mana blades so sharp that they cut through Dante's regeneration.
'SHARPER!' He roared as his blades sliced through Dante's body. 'I can be even sharper!'
*Sploosh!!*
Turning into a blur of green light and blizting past him, Jack hit him with a dozen slashes before ending up several feet behind him.
'Yeah, I can still-
"Kekekekekeke."
!!!
Suddenly feeling a sense of dread wash over him, the temperature in the room began alternating between being boiling hot and freezing cold.
'This feeling... What is this!!'
"Do you feel that Nahamah?" A eerie feminine voice echoed through the air. "The mana of the living world."
Manifesting into the human world, two white haired devils of the Supreme level stepped foot into the castle.
"Kekekekekeke." The male devil known as Nahamah let out a wicked cackle as he breathed in deeply. "Oh yes Lilith." He grinned. "This mana... its delicious~"
The moment the feet of the devil known as Nahamah touched the stone floor, the entire area was engulfed by bright orange coloured flames.
Following Nahamah's example, the moment Lilith's foot touched the castle floor, layers of ice started covering both the castle walls and floors.
"D-Devils..."
Feeling his mouth suddenly run dry and the feeling in his limbs become numb, Jack was barely able to move as the pressure radiating off the devils were in a whole other ball park compared to someone like Dante. You couldn't even compare the two.
The difference in power... it was immense.
Two devils, one male and the other female. So similar in appearance that it wouldn't be a surprise if they were twins. Completely symmetrical, it was as if they were two halves of a whole. With each possessing a single huge black coloured horn connected to a black mask that covered either their left or right eye on the upper quarter of their face.
Their differences were few and far between with the male devil Nahamah possessing a bright orange eye whereas Lilith's visible eye was ice blue. As for their wings, unlike the typical devil, their wings emerged out of their lower back. The biggest difference between the two would be their right and left arms. Nahamah's left arm was bigger than his right arm and was covered in a pattern resembling fire and had fire-like wisps protruding from the shoulder.
Lilith's right arm on the other hand was also larger than her left and was covered in a pattern that resembled shards of ice and had ice-like spikes protruding from the shoulder.
"Pahahahahahahahahahahaha!!" Deranged sounding laughter escaped from Dante's mouth as his eyes ran over the two new arrivals. "You're here! You're finally here!!"
"Hmm?" The two looked at him with curiousity.
As for their response?
Outside of the sound of their sinister laughter, the two unleashed hundreds of compressed balls of ice and fire magic from every inch of their bodies, scorching and freezing everything it touched.
*BOOM!!* *BOOM!!* *BOOM!!*
*BANG!!*
Unable to dodge the overwhelming amount of attacks, Jack was hit by a stray and collided into a nearby wall.
"GYAAAH!!" He gasped in pain as he felt his bones rattle and blood seeped out from the corner of his lips. If a casual attack was able to injure him this badly. He didn't want to imagine what they could do if they were serious.
As for Dante, he was lucky that the two could sense Lucifero's power on him.
"BWHAHAHAHAHA!! Brilliant!!" He roared. "This is the world I wanted!"
Laughing mindlessly, something in Dante changed. Now that the gates of the underworld had been opened, the previous barrier preventing him and the rest of the dark triad from using 100% of their devil's power had vanished.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"
With an absurd amount of mana coursing through his body, the gravity in the area doubled- No, it trippled!
"YES, YES, YES!!"
With the symbol of gravity becoming more prominent on his chest and appearing on the tip of his tail. His appearance became even closer to that of a devil as the dark coloured substance that made up his devil mark covered half his face and the majority of his body while also seemingly fusing his crown to his head after it blackened.
"Oh?" The two devils looked at him in amusement.
"Lilith." Nahamah called out before revealing a very unsettling grin. "I want to play with him~"
"Kekekekeke~" She nodded in agreement barely able to control herself. "Me too."
"But its Lucifero's toy."
"It could make things messy."
"We should ask Lucifero to give him to us."
"Yes... Once he gets here..."
"Then we'll have to find something else to do while we wai-
"Hey, how about playing with me?"
Suddenly feeling their shoulders being gripped by an unfamiliar arm, the twin devils slowly turned their heads to look in-between them.
"Yo." A white haired boy smiled at the two.
"..."
"..."
""PfftHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!"" All of a sudden, they burst into laughter.
"Did you sense him Lilith?!"
"No. He appeared out of nowhere!"
"How interesting!"
"Very interesting!"
"Should we play with him?"
"I think we should!"
Having made their minds up, the two devils switched their attention back on Grim.
Facing the stare of the the twins, Grim could no longer suppress the grin trying to crawl its way to the surface.
"Okay, lets play."

Arada Longer chapter that unsual. But after managing to get some time off thanks to the Easter holidays I was finally able to get a chapter out and am already half way through the next one! Hopefully I can get it out within the next 24 hours or so.
