'My name is Rei walford, I got reincarnated into this world eight years ago, which makes me eight years this year. Although u wanted to rest in peace I'm actually enjoying my stay here, this world is not that bad. According to my research so far this world has something like a life force which is called.... what's that name again....? Aha "mana" although its a life force but not all people have it or can use it. Right now I'm training with grandpa Merlin on magic control, he was actually the one who found us and adopted us on the day of the accident, from that day till now he treated both I and shin like his own grandkids, what a nice man indeed. He always tells us that magic control is the basic foundation to every magic spells there is. He also said that a strong body leads to a high adaptability of magic spells because casting magic spells consecutively drains ones stamina so in order to be able to cast a high magic spell you must have enough stamina backing it up. Unlike Shin, I was a martial artist in my past life so building up stamina wasn't that much of a problem the only issue I'm facing right now is my body i need to wait till my bones are matured enough to take on the training I'm going to do. Then there is grandma Melinda, unlike the calm old grandpa Melin she is quite the hot blooded one, she doesn't tolerate rubbish, although she has some anger issues she quite the caring type of grandma one can get. And the last is uncle Michel he trains both I and Shin in swordplay he is actually brutal in the process but the result is a shocker, now Shin and I are actually swordsmen with perfect grip despite our small bodies.
Now back to my training casting spells in this world gives me the chills down through my spine as they make some long, boring, and stressful piece of shit called incantations to channel the flow of magic through their body to release the spell, but thank goodness i got an intelligent jnr brother who made a way to cast magic spells without the incantations. It took me a long time to learn it but as I got the hang of it, it became a piece of cake to me
Right now I'm working on a research I call 'mana regeneration'. Its a way to gather mana from nature and store it into our bodies as our own and it's only done when we run out of mana during a clash with the enemy. Its not much of a deal for people like Shin and I even Grandpa and Grandma because unlike the normal humans in this world we have more than enough mana in our bodies but I'm just doing the research for future purposes, it might actually help, who knows.
During our lessons with Grandma Melinda she said that the air around us contains different types of energy, according to her she said the ones we take in and the ones we give out. The ones we take in consist of different energy like the normal oxygen, natural energy and magical energy which is the byproduct of the natural energy which all beings take in unconsciously the energies each have their own special feature for example the oxygen are huge ball like in shape which is white in color the natural energy is smaller than the oxygen and has a yellow color while the magical energy is the smallest of them all with a pink color, and that is why not everyone can use only few people. And the ones we take out if our body are the hot air which she called carbon....dy...oxo or something like that and others like dead magical energy which comes out inform of aura. So what I'm basically trying to do is to bring together those magical energy and take them rapidly in my conscious state rather than doing it unconsciously, so far so good it was actually a succ.... just kidding it was never successful everytime I try it it ends up dispersing and bursting up making a huge explosion and blowing away everything that is near it including me of course. Sometimes Grandma Melinda often tells me to stop trying to do an impossible thing like that but my hunch feeling tells me the opposite. If I can get this task I'm sure I'll achieve something great in the future so I might just give it my all.
Meanwhile at the other side of the training ground was Shin and Uncle Michel practicing their sword fight, although I can use swords with ease I'm not that a fan of swords I don't know the reason but it might be the influence of my past life kicking in. In my past life there was also a saying which goes by" a man's true feeling and authority are is fist" si that's why I fight bare knuckled'
BOOM BOOM
A huge resounding explosion could be heard from the side where Shin and Uncle Michel were sparring, coming out from the huge dust and smoke was Uncle Michel with his giant like sword on his shoulder with some stains of dust covering his face and clothing " it's time for your turn Rei, go spar with your brother" he said while walking to the wooden chair where Grandpa and Grandma where sitting far away from the training ground, "Are you done teaching Shin" with a welcoming smile Melinda said, at that moment Michel facial expression went serious " I'm afraid to say this, but there is nothing I can teach them anymore at this stage they can they are on equal footing with a knight general" the atmosphere suddenly turns serious, trying to cool of the atmosphere Merlin immediately chipped in " well they are quite talented don't you think so Melinda-chan" a vain immediately popped out from her head "the next time you call me that I bet you, you'll pay darely with your life" after the threat she then cooled down " I just pray they don't get too involved with the world's politics unless they will plot to use them as weapons for war". "But before they get to them, they must pass through us first" Merlin immediately chipped in. As the destru... ahem I mean spar was about to begin Merlin set up a barrier to surround them to avoid some disasters that might occur, he also placed a hologram timer which was set on five seconds on the sky to signal them when to begin

Shin was now confused "Oi Nissan where is your weapon" he asked Rei who was so concentrated on their spar

In that split second both of them instantly disappeared from their previous position appearing at the middle facing each other head on Shin slashed his sword downwards while Rei with his bare hands met the sword head on "Oh? no blood just as expected from you Nissan" having a strange feeling Shin quickly stepped back thereby avoiding the hook punch coming from Rei's left hand "Nice dodge but don't think you can dodge the next one" Shin wondering what he was talking about didn't notice the air pressure coming towards his face and was not able to dodge the attack, the pressure then impacted with his face and sent him flying, doing a swift somersault he then landed with his legs regaining his balance "Oi Nissan what was that" he asked him in an agitated tone, Rei gently caressed his left fist sayin " It was an attack you couldn't block nor dodge baagger" he said in an insultive manner "Arrrgh you've asked for it Nissan" Shin quickly dashed towards Rei, but before he could land the attack Rei swiftly right stepped and landed the final blow in his gut which made Shin pass out
