*SCHIK* *THUD*

The cyclops that was about to begin it's charge fervently, had its eye pierced by an arrow so sharp it seemed to cut the very wind.

The force from the charge shot caused the cyclops's head to jerk backwards violently as it fell on its back.

It was still alive though, as it struggled to remove the tiny arrow using its giant hands, a spear that almost matched the cyclops in height appeared over it.

Sensing the disturbance in mana, the cyclops raised its hand above its head as the spear fell colliding with the palm of the beast.

"GROOOOAA!"

The beast roared in pain once again as the spear cut into its palm but was unable to pierce its hand entirely.

As it was trying to defend against the spear, I had managed to channel another charge shot as I leapt off the branch and activated lesser flight.

Flying past the dissipating spear with the mana charged arrow in my hand, I hurriedly aimed downward at my target.

The gaping mouth of the cyclops as it screamed.

The charge shot was weaker as I let some of the mana dissipate and didn't release with full force, but it still was at a level to harm a D rank.

*BANG* "GR- KRRR!"

The screaming cyclops began choking on blood as the arrow collided with the back of its throat, drawing substantial amounts of blood.

It swung it fist up at me, but I merely flied further up, dodging the blind swing as the monster began to get up.

The injury on its palm had fully healed, its eye was still reforming but most of it was healed, and the monster stopped choking but began spitting large mouthfuls of blood.

Lucy summoned two great swords covered in green aura, their size not as substantial as the spear but they were noticeably sharper.

*CRRK*

Like metal grinding against stone, the swords made small cut on the neck, arms and chest deftly evading any attempt the monster made at blocking them.

It was not difficult as one arm of the cyclops permanently covered its eye.

Both swords rose up to the air as I released a flurry of arrows, aimed at the arm protecting the eye.

Most of the arrows dug into its skin like needles annoying the monster but not enough to weaken it.

The swords cast by Lucy fused together to form a great sword that was more well defined, resembling an actual blade more than a sharp piece of metal.

The singular sword fell on the arm again, its fall a blur of green and white.

Blood spilled as the sword dug as far as most arrows, but the cut was far longer.

The sword then turned to a gloved hand that grabbed the cyclops arm as Lucy signaled for me to stop firing for a bit.

I changed my vantage point as the phantasmal hand began pulling on the cyclops's arm

"GROAAAA!"

It yelled in anger as it finally seemed to have the strength to retaliate.

The hand tightly pressing on the eye loosened as the fingers spread apart slightly, revealing portions of the large eye that had healed completely.

And glared at Lucy hatefully.

It limited its vision greatly to prevent another arrow from blinding it.

It charged forward as Lucy used the phantasmal hand to push it back, cut it with a sword and pierce it with a spear yet nothings seemed to work.

I took a deep breath as I used two techniques at once, not having time to relocate to a better vantage point to get a good shot.

'Charged Curving Shot'

*BOOM* *THUP*

The arrow buzzing with energy, seemed to straight up miss the cyclops, passing right by its right leg before it did a near 180-degree turn.

Exploding as it hit the back of the cyclops's knee the monster stumbled in its charge right as it was about to slam its fist down at the retreating Lucy.

Falling face first gave me less areas to exploit as vulnerabilities but was perfect for Lucy as a giant blade resembling a guillotine appeared above the back of the monster's neck.

It didn't decapitate the monster, but the blade made it further than any other attack as it drew large quantities of blood from the cyclops.

Immediately, it flipped over, swinging at Lucy blindly as it left its eye exposed.

I flew closer as I aimed at the weak point, at a range far closer than any archer should be.

*TWWSSS* *SPRRT*

The arrow once again obliterated the soft tissue that was the cyclops's eye but as it was inside the skull I felt it curve.

Curving straight up as it ripped through the eye, a pop sounded from inside the monster's skull as the arrow unable to handle the mana exploded.

The monster began spasming due to the arrow shrapnel ripping through its brain, blood frothing at its mouth as the struggling cyclops finally died.

"Oh my god..."

Lucy said exhausted as I looked at the number of cyclops kills go up by two, far too little for the inconvenience that was the elite.

Despite the fight taking long, the poor monster hadn't even been able to pick up its large stone club, finding itself pestered with a flurry of attacks.

"That was so cool! Were those curving arrows? Did you intentionally use a weaker arrow to make it explode inside the brain?"

I replied yes to both question as Lucy seemed to forget the annoying fight and walked up to the cyclops and tried lifting the giant stone club.

With four phantasmal hands all glowing green it was possible, and she laughed somewhat maniacally as she swung it around.

"Lucy."

"Hm?"

"Could you use it on those trees over there?"

I asked pointing to a bunch of trees with aged bark and crooked branches that seemed to move.

"With pleasure!"

She said as she raised her arms above her head, happy to have the opportunity to use the sheer destructive power of the club.

"SKREEEE!"

The ents pretending to be trees, screamed as their many legs resembling tree roots tried to escape from being crushed by the tyrannical stone club wielding Lucy.
