Chương 8: Rampage 2
Cedrick continued to wonder in the forest searching for a monster to kill. Suddenly he heard a rustling leaves. He became vigilant at the moment and entered stealth. He saw a lone goblin but way bigger than the ones he just fought.
Cedrick was curious on what is it as he inspected it.

Cedrick found it strange why a goblin is alone. Even if it is a Goblin Chief, it should be the one leading, not the one leaving.
Cedrick thought that lone Goblins were very easy to deal with unlike when they were in group. It would like cause headaches. To others that is.
Cedrick hypothesized that maybe it became bored as it took his time along and it is confident in its strength. Sensing that it would be a good fight just like his previous one. Cedrick exited stealth and revealed himself.
The Goblin Chief shouted in surprise as suddenly someone appeared in front of him. It became vigilant the moment Cedrick appeared and then attacked him.
Due to Cedrick's agility was higher than the Goblin Chief, he was able to easily dodge it. Cedrick was now holding two swords in his hands that he took from the goblins. Even the sword were in low quality, rusted and nearly destroyed.
Cedrick wasn't bothered by it as his purpose of using it was to familiar on using a weapon.
The goblin continued it's attack on Cedrick but Cedrick avoided and deflected them. He is slowly adapting to the sword and was becoming more proficient with it.
[Basic Sword Mastery has been acquired.]
Cedrick ignored the notification as he started his counter attacks. He was weaving his sword as if he was doing a sword dance and his strikes started to become blurry which confused the Goblin Chief as it could not parry and making some openings.
As soon as Cedrick saw the opening, he slashed the sword using his left blade aiming at the right ankle of the Goblin Chief. After being hit, the Goblin Chief let out a scream in pain and it's body began to fall.

Cedrick didn't waste time and immediately followed his next attack with a sword using his right blade. As the Goblin Chief was still being outbalanced, he was able to cut an arm which makes it scream.

Seing its arms fall to the ground, it looked at Cedrick with rage and hostility in it's eyes. Enormous pain was felt at the moment and intense blood lust to revenge has filled the head of the Goblin Chief.
[Goblin Chief entered Berserk State.]

Cedrick didn't care if it berserked. He sprinted and jumped. Cedrick then stab the two blades at the shoulders of the Goblin Chief. There was a leather armor which makes his stab not lethal as he thought but it was enough to cause it to bleed and scream again in pain.

The Goblin Chief tried to shake off Cedrick and Cedrick was thrown. Cedrick did a circular motion as he landed on the ground and then dash to the distracted Goblin Chief. He raised both swords and slash the chest.

Blood sprayed from the chest like a faucet. He then look at the HP remaining and saw only 10% was left. Cedrick didn't waste time as he tried to deliver the final blow. But the Goblin didn't let him.
Cedrick tried to stop and avoid the incoming attack but he has reacted late. The greatsword of Goblin Chief slashed Cedrick.

The Goblin Chief rushed towards Cedrick seing he was thrown away by the impacts of the attacks. He got closer and closer until it was 2 meters but Cedrick looked calm. He wasn't bothered and he was confident he won't be defeated.
The Goblin Chief continued and attack Cedrick. Seing the attack is coming, Cedrick didn't dodge as he was curious how much damage would be dealt during critical as he let himself get hit in his sides.

After instantly healing, Cedrick dashed and appeared in front of the Goblin Chief. Cedrick plunged both sword and targeted the heart. The swords pierced through the back.
The Goblin Chief widened it's eyes and felt incredible pain and his chest, he took a glance at his chest and saw two swords had pierced through his body.
He vomited an great amount of blood as his conciousness began to fade. He look at Cedrick who had a faint grin on his face. He tried to pull it the sword out but his body no longer followed him.

As Cedrick was attacking the Goblin Chief with two swords in the hands. He slowly adapted as it was becoming part of him and making the fight even more easier.
Cedrick look at the corpse and then grinned at the thought of becoming familiar in close combat. He suddenly remembered the moment he reacted late and then take note to never let his guard down in any moment.
As soon as Cedrick saw those notifications, he laid down on the ground for a while to let his mental fatigue fade away.
After a while Cedrick rose from the ground. Cedrick throw the swords seing it was on the verge of being destroyed and did not pick the equipment of the Goblin Chief.
It was mostly common and uncommon which was uselss in his eyes.
None has caught his attention and then he started walking and continue the journey.

During the evening. Cedrick was still traveling to his destination in the woods. Suddenly he noticed something in the darkness of the night.
"Fire?"
"It's quite small from here but I'm sure it's fire. It's not spreading so that's not a forest fire."
Uncertain, Cedrick looked at the mini-map to see it clearly.
"So it's Goblins Village. No wonder theres a fire. I think they are doing some campfire right now."
"Let's check this out. If there are many of them, I might think of annihilating them all. Even if one goblin gives a small amount of exp. If there are many its still a big amount. I'm looking forward to it."
[Shadow Manipulation Activated]
Cedrick transformed into a shadow and sneakily went inside the village without anyone noticing. As he arrived on a roof of the largest hut. Cedrick was greeted by festival of the goblins.They are dancing merrily and doing anything they want.
Cedrick scanned the whole area and found that all goblins gathered in one place.
"Saphira how many goblins are there in total?"
{There's 1 Goblin Champion, 5 Goblin Shaman, 500 Hobgoblins and 1400 Common Goblins. There's also a captive High Elf and a Barbarian Prince}
I got surprised by the number of Goblins but I was even more shocked about hearing a high elf and a barbarian.

Cedrick activated Draconic Eye to clearly see from the distance.
¹"Hmmm. It looks like they are offering the elf to the goblin champion. Now I know why they are having a festival or something like that."
²"It look likes they're treating the barbarian as a food. Well it's not surprising as it look like a 5 year old kid."
¹"It also seems that this is the village that Goblin Chief came from."
²"From the looks of it, the Goblin Champion temporarily took over the position to have someone leading all goblins."
With the Draconic Eyes Cedrick inspected the goblins.

Cedrick said while activating the skill to see the future hoping she could give the best choice of action.

Hearing that, Cedrick grinned mischievously.
"Now then. Then let the despair begin."
(Claire's POV)
I was abducted by these green monsters. I can't shout anymore. Everytime I shouted for help they will hit and sometimes lick me. I was scared. What have I done to deserve this nightmaire? Soon I collapsed from fatigue.
I woke up and slowly opened my eyes. I can't move as I was tied up. Regaining my consciousness I saw thousands of green monsters encircling me.
I was scared. I was so scared that I can't help but shiver. Suddenly a big green monster approached me. Its was probably the leader of these monsters.
Its looking at me with perverted look at its face. It unleashed me from the ropes. It touched my face and lick my cheeks. Tears again started falling into my eyes.
"Why is this happening to me? What have I done to deserve this? I want to go home."
As I tried to look away I suddenly saw a child about to be stabbed by a monster holding a knife. I suddenly remembered him being hit by a truck.
"No!"

I don't know what I have done but I suddenly felt pain. I was in a daze for a moment why I am stabbed in the back instead of the child. I realized I'm currently hugging him and used my body as a shield.
Kuhaah!
Blood gushed out from my mouth. I subconciously looked at the child.
"Don't worry. Big sister gonna protect you."
I embraced the boy and prepared for death. The monster's merciless hand flew towards my back. I thought that both me and the boy would die. But it just suddenly stopped and walked away.

I muttered in a daze not understanding it a bit. As I was in a daze, I suddenly heard a voice and saw a silhouette of a boy.
"These goblins really knows to have a merry atmosphere."
