Chương 97: Mr. Landlord

Evan dialed Rose's number immediately before the plane took off.

"Rose…" Evan was surprised. His call was picked up on the first ring. 

"Evan! Where are you now?"

"I was about to fly back. I read your message. My investment company is Starlight Investment. Haven't you visited the branch office in East city? Did you forget?" 

"I do not forget…." Rose stood up from her chair. She looked out at the building with the big sign 'Starlight Apartment.' She continued her words, "How about the name of the owner of my unit apartment? What's his name?" 

Evan was getting confused.

"Can you just ask what you want to know?" Evan chuckled as he thought his girl had become suspicious about something. But he didn't know what it was.

Hearing Evan's laughter on the other end, she also became amused. "Evan, you own my unit apartment, right?" 

Evan froze. Damn! Has she been found out?
