It had been three days since Shekhar had first talked about the plan to catch the thief red-handed and unmask him. Major Shekhar was clearly an expert in leading an expedition Suhasini had thought as Shekhar had taken pride in the planning. He had chalked out a detailed plan which was rather too dramatic, Nihaal had thought. While Suhasini had admired it as something straight out of an Agatha Christie novel.
And Shekhar had loved being in the center of it all much like Hercule Poirot. He had carefully laid a trap and everyone had a part to play accept for Nihaal – which Nihaal had pointed out rather sourly. ‘Don’t be silly, Nihaal’, Shekhar had said with his easy smile, ‘whoever he is, he knows you well, it will be foolish to use in the plan and hope to trap the man’, he had added.
