Chương 22: And it Happened Again…

The dinner was spread on the table. The spread was very formal with three courses to be served but the setting of the dinner was rather informal. It was an important dinner but also a celebration of health and strength. The dinner was in honor of Shekhar’s full recovery and thus it was to entail fun, lenient conversations and jokes doing rounds. The room had seemed to have a red theme with fresh change of curtains to crimson and the Mahogany furniture, thought Nihaal as he walked in the room. Shekhar sat near the fire and Suhasini sat on the sofa with Madhavi in her lap talking excitedly while the three puppies tumbled around the room.

‘Good Evening Nihaal, how was it at the office?’, asked Shekhar as he stood up and walked to a side cabinet with liquor set on the top, glasses and ice bucket set fastidiously.

‘Well, it was the same’, answered Nihaal as he nodded at Suhasini in a form of greeting and took his seat.
