Lawrence began to ponder.
"Anyway, those are the only things I know from them. People started to stay away from the priests and the nuns. They never received their help afterwards."
Kevin came back with a pot of vegetable broth in his hand. When Lawrence looked up, Kevin smiled at him.
"Let's eat?"
"Mhm," Lawrence consented. Frederick's uncle glanced at the two, sensing a strange harmonious atmosphere.
They are both men, but why do I feel like I'm seeing a wife inviting his husband to eat dinner? He shook his head. He must be so out of it that he is just imagining things.
"Please eat with us." Kevin politely offered.
Frederick's uncle wanted to refuse, but he knew it would be too impolite. He also wants to request more information from the two.
So the group of three sat at a dinner table and ate their meal silently. Nobody speak. But once in a while, Frederick's uncle noticed Lawrence's strange actions.
