Amara, a soul forged through countless lifetimes of virtue (or maybe just a really good karma bank), finds herself in the underworld after kicking the bucket. She dreams of ascending to the celestial realms, but fate has other plans.

With insufficient merit points (basically, not enough brownie points), Amara is forced to take a job as a civil servant of Yamlok. Her task? Traveling to various small worlds to fulfill wishes, earn merits, and basically make a living.

But things aren't as straightforward as they seem. The female supporting roles are stuck in sad and abusive stories, while the male supporting roles are desperate for sweet love. And they're not convinced that their fates are sealed!
