Chương 1: The World We Know
2024.
The World started to change drastically when monsters started to descend from the skies above Africa, Austrialia, Asia and South America. All the humans in these continents died of the massive impact, of the landing.
However, the other continets were completely undamaged and fully intact.
Humanity started to gather military forces in order to conquer their Lands back, but they did not know that the deeper they would go the stronger the monsters would be.
As a result, all forces vanished without a trace, after a few kilometers. That was a serious problem since they didn´t saw anything through satellite-images, it was like the monsters had the ability to jam electronic devices, that get into contact with them(pictures, audios etc.).
Humanity stopped to send forces in these lands and called them `Abandoned Lands´.
One fateful day random humans started to awaken superhuman abilities, these abilities always differ from one another but they were able to categories them, since the hair color also changed, if they awakened an ability. People with orange Hair had often the fire attribute. People with blue hair could heal wounds, heal diseases, or had the water attribute... There were always some exceptions....
Humanity categorized people and Monsters through their strengths, they went from E to S and if they were exceptionally strong they were called kings. Human kings were limited, only 7 were allowed since they hold tremendous power and have their own territory.
So, the only way to rise to the throne of a king is to win in a fight against a king.
2025.
Europe suddenly was in a fierce war against North America, in which all kings were involved. In the war, Europe became one nation and all the nations in Europe became cities and cities(states) became sub-cities. The same goes for North America. Canada and the US became one nation. They did that to have enough strength to fight against their enemy overseas.
One day a bald individual with a mask entered the battlefield, he was strong, so strong, strong enough to fight against all the kings alone. He has beaten every single king so bad that they lost their will to fight. This man called himself `Heracles´.
Heracles is the person who accomplished peace through sheer force. After that Heracles burned himself in front of the Kings and announced a new era of cruelty, hatred and despair for humanity.
This shallow peace only works, because everyone forgot how it came to war. There was not a single clue on the internet how it could have started or anything, even the authorities claimed to have lost their memories. There were videos and such of the war, but they couldn't imagine how it came to this fierce war.
One of the kings filmed how Heracles burned himself and announced the new era. After this video became viral, humans only awakened abilities in the very minute they become 18, if you did not awaken one then you would never.
And in this new era, an individual would soon arise and become the greatest threat to all of humanity.
The world we know is no more.
