The years 2020-21 were very bad years for the world. A terrible pandemic hit the whole world leaving millions of deaths around the globe.
Many people died. Some were famous, others not so famous, maybe they were simple strangers or maybe they were friends, distant relatives or even our most loved ones. Yes, years when you could not turn on the television or the networks that bombarded you with millions of cases or deaths every day discouraging what was left of the population.
Years went by and although now it is a bad memory of everything they lived years before. There are still things that endure and will endure for hundreds and perhaps millions of years more, such as, for example, that there are no longer any humans left.
Hybrids ring a bell?
Project Animal was an experiment created in 2021 in the midst of the great pandemic. Some scientists in a desperate search for a cure for a virus that they knew little about and that was attacking the whole world, causing millions of infected and countless deaths, decided to experiment with animal DNA.
Walter Kurz was the creator of PA. A renowned German scientist who, in his most golden years, was winner of hundreds of academy awards and winner of many prizes for his countless achievements in science. The creator of the cure for cancer and the creator of the transplantation of limbs from one person to another, he had the great idea to research a cure for the virus, which his family had contracted. After hundreds of days in his laboratory trying the impossible by mixing chemicals and substances, a horrible and bizarre idea occurred to him when he saw his pet, a simple laboratory hamster.
His intentions were to investigate whether any DNA from the animal kingdom could be used to create a reliable cure for that virus. Since he knew the capabilities of animals in various risk situations, he thought that something similar could happen with a human.
But one day, in his mind came the brilliant idea of mixing the two DNAs.
Animal and Human.
All his research was denied and destroyed by the government, they considered it inhumane and totally immoral to do that to humans as well as animals. But having copies and backups of all his reports and experiments up to that day, he opened a clandestine laboratory with the help of many ex-scientists.
They were all testing the DNAs of hundreds of species in embryo still in formation, being rejected almost instantly for it causing the death of the sack of cells they called embryo. Hundreds of failures, one after the other, and it was like this until they realized that the embryos lasted longer and longer, until one day one gave a positive result.
A seven-month-old fetus had acquired the DNA of a feline, obtaining its features and several of its characteristics as well as its behavior. Although it could not be confirmed which one, due to their failures. They continued doing the same steps with the others, creating their first hybrids.
And no one thought that years later, those hybrids would be the entire population of the world.
After a gigantic war that left humans on the brink of extinction, the surviving hybrids managed to move forward as civilized "people". Years in which they reproduced among themselves and more hybrids of other species that had not yet been investigated appeared, causing the sum to rise exponentially until covering the numbers that at the time were human beings.
The continents were transformed over hundreds of years, for different reasons, causing each continent to have its own habitat.
Right in the center of Asia, a war is about to break out after it was reported that the last hybrids of a species had been kidnapped to reproduce them by force.
Yes, just like hundreds of years ago.
Only this time it was not a scientist and his henchmen, but hybrids who want power and wealth.

- All targets must come in safe and sound, -he exited the aircraft, making everyone in the van look at each other- It is not an option, it is an order.
-Yes, sir. We will bring in all the Seahorses safe and sound.
PHP headquarters is desperate for their soldiers not to fail.
Seahorse mission.
A peculiar mission.
Prevent the last hybrids of this animal from becoming extinct.
The only male hybrids that are fertile, at that time are on the verge of extinction.
