As June comes to a close, so too does the fate that has been set for the boys. Despite everything, they still rise in the morning and carry on with their day just like any other, completely unaware and not even catching a whiff of anything unusual.
That's pretty much the case for most of them since only Kiyoshi is genuinely aware of the unfortunate news. He not only knows what's coming, but he's also predicted it and is in the process of wrapping up the plan he created.
As for the others, Gakuto definitely has his own suspicions. With his sharp mind, he pieced together some clues after that unexpected invitation from the Aboveground Student Council the other day.
Gakuto received the same offer as well. The Aboveground Student Council stepped in, promising to assist him and the boys in breaking free from their sentence. They also aimed to help them seek justice against the Underground Student Council, if that was at all possible.
It's just that when he tried to be clever by digging into their motives. Risa Bettou wasted no time, launching into a relentless attack that left him battered and bruised. After what felt like an eternity of punishment, he was unceremoniously tossed out, discarded like yesterday's news. Andre, who was hanging out with him, just couldn't be counted on. Throughout their chat, it was clear that his mind was wandering off to who knows where.
All of this happened due to the harsh treatment of a sadistic woman named Risa Bettou, which left Andre utterly defeated. She even had him get down on all fours before she settled herself on him.
"Hey Gakuto, are you sure you want to go see them again?" Andre asked, a hint of uncertainty in his voice. Fear was evident in his eyes, and his body trembled slightly, betraying his inner turmoil.
"Of course, they only gave us a day to think about our choices, and I feel like I can't waste this opportunity," Gakuto replied with determination. He kept his eyes glued to the weeds he was pulling out, completely focused on the task at hand.
"What if it's simply a trap?"
"Andre-dono, you know, a guy really can't be considered a man if he never steps out of his comfort zone and takes some risks in life."
Gakuto let out a deep sigh, noticing the concern etched on his friend's face. He didn't mind being the sole player in this plan. However, based on the book he had read, a general still required soldiers to secure a victory in war. So, he held onto the hope that Andre could provide the support he needed.
As Gakuto scanned his surroundings, he made sure to tread lightly, wanting to ensure that no one caught wind of what he was about to say next. He couldn't spot Meiko anywhere other than Kiyoshi, Joe, and Shingo, who were all engaged in the same activity not too far from them.
Feeling that the moment was just right, Gakuto leaned closer to Andre and whispered, "Do you remember what they said? At last, we can break free from this torment, and even more exciting, we might just have the opportunity to settle the score."
Gakuto thought this was a solid opportunity since, to be honest, he didn't have any other options available to him. To put it more clearly, he lacked any power or influence to initiate even the smallest counterattack. In this school, it seemed like everyone—students and teachers alike—viewed the boys as their enemies.
So, when the Aboveground Student Council approached him, it felt like he had just hit the jackpot with some heavenly good luck. Gakuto could just make out a faint smile on General Guan Yu's face as he looked in his direction.
Unfortunately for Gakuto, Andre, who hadn't quite grasped the significance of the opportunity, was still preoccupied with other concerns. "I'm not sure about that. Honestly, I feel like my life has been pretty good up to this point. I appreciate the way Meiko-senpai treated me more than how that other woman did."
Gakuto quickly figured out who Andre was talking about, and even now, he couldn't shake off the shivers that came from recalling just how sadistic Risa could be.
With no other option available, Gakuto needed to clarify things for his friend. He leaned in close, nearly pressing his mouth to Andre's ear, anxious about anyone else overhearing their conversation.
"listen up, you fool. Picture this, the roles have flipped, and now Meiko-dono finds herself in your grasp as a prisoner. You hold the power to command her to do anything you desire. That's the kind of revenge I'm talking about."
Gakuto was genuinely surprised by just how effective his method turned out to be. Andre, weighed down by worry and uncertainty, suddenly had a bright smile spread across his face. Along with that, his breathing grew noticeably heavier. He had conjured up a multitude of thoughts in his mind, and if Gakuto were to find out, he would likely be filled with disgust.
"So, do you get it now?"
With a nod of his head, Andre turned to his three friends and asked, "What about the others? We're going to do this together, right?"
Gakuto found himself at a loss for words, knowing he didn't have an answer that Andre would likely find acceptable. After a brief moment of contemplation, a smile gradually spread across Gakuto's face as he remarked, "We'll tackle this together, but we need to keep it under wraps for now."
Gakuto and Andre decided to meet with the Aboveground Student Council members once more. Since their free time was limited, they needed to move fast and precisely before they had to head back to the prison block and wrap things up for the day.
"It's break time, everyone! You've got 15 minutes to recharge before heading back to work," Meiko called out, instantly grabbing everyone's attention to the same thing: her immense breasts.
They finally came to a stop when one of them felt the sting of her whip, and once again, they were forced to see just how ruthless she could be. This time, it was Gakuto who found himself on the receiving end of the pain. She seized his collar with a firm grip and forcefully slammed him to the ground.
"Where do you think you're headed?" Meiko asked with a chill in her voice, showing no concern for the man beneath her, who groaned in agony as her heels pressed down on his chest.
"U-Ughkk... M-Meiko-dono, I'm heading over to the cafeteria... Please, just stop... I'm just doing my part. Today it's my turn."
Gakuto was in disbelief that Meiko had forgotten about this. After all, she was the one who had established the rule that only one of them could head to the cafeteria to grab their food. So, they had already put together a plan to figure out who would head out on which day.
"No need, it's Kiyoshi's turn today."
Gakuto's eyes went wide at the puzzling scene unfolding before him. Despite having a good idea of what was about to happen, he found himself unable to resist asking:
"Meiko-dono…"
Meiko quickly interrupted him, stating firmly, "I'm going to do what I want, and right now, I want Kiyoshi to go today. Is that a problem for you?"
Ultimately, the issue was sorted out in no time at all—so fast, in fact, that it left everyone utterly speechless. As Gakuto watched Kiyoshi and Meiko stroll into the school building, he couldn't help but clench his teeth in frustration.
He never saw it coming—the chance he had to connect with the Aboveground Student Council members was tossed aside so easily, all because of Meiko's self-centered wishes.
The blend of annoyance and helplessness only fueled his resolve to sit down with the Aboveground Student Council members and wrap up their agreement as soon as possible.
Not long after, they both returned, and Kiyoshi was already holding a plastic bag in his hand. He then handed each of them a sandwich along with a bottle of water. It was only when he decided to grab his portion that he realized the plastic bag was completely empty.
As he kept apologizing over and over, he earnestly pleaded with Meiko to let him go back to the cafeteria. Feeling like she had no other option, she agreed to it. Since she needed someone to keep an eye on him, the two of them headed back together.
Kiyoshi wore a shocked expression that blended with a hint of sadness, while Meiko seemed ready to unleash her anger and deliver some kind of punishment. But it was all just an act, carefully crafted to keep the others from catching on to what was really going on.
"Now tell me, what the fuck did you do to me last night?"
After trailing behind Kiyoshi to the far side of the school building, Meiko couldn't hold back any longer. She finally opened up about what had been weighing on her mind since this morning.
She jolted awake in one of the dimly lit rooms of the prison block, her mind racing as she struggled to piece together the events of the previous night. Slowly, fragments of memory began to surface, and she couldn't shake the vivid recollection of what Kiyoshi had done to her body. She managed to keep her composure, caught in a haze of shock, and found herself trying to deny what was happening.
"I just wanted to help you unwind a bit-"
"Cut the bullshit. Do you really think I'm that naive?" Meiko's tone shifted to a serious note as she gradually closed in on Kiyoshi, leaving him with no escape route. Right behind him stood a tree, so if he wanted to make a getaway, he'd have to get past her.
