Xavier sprinted all the way, finding no one obstructing his path. Finally, he reached the ship's entrance.
With a tight grip on his fist and a deep breath, he swung the door open. The sharp rays of the sun struck his face, causing him to instinctively shut his eyes. After a moment, his vision adjusted to the light, and he opened his eyes, only to find himself surrounded by five police officers.
"Halt! You are under arrest for breaking into the ship," one of the policemen declared firmly.
Xavier's brow furrowed. He realized he needed to extricate himself from this predicament, so he promptly summoned all his Pokémon.
In response, each of the policemen released their Growlithe, each at level 26.
Xavier wasted no time, issuing orders for his Pokémon to engage in battle. However, the conflict took an unexpected turn when a sudden Thunderbolt attack struck Primeape, catching it off guard and causing significant damage.
Looking to the source of the attack, Xavier saw none other than Lt. Surge himself, accompanied by his level 46 Magneton.
The shock of seeing a Pokémon of such high level left Xavier momentarily stunned. Despite his victory against Surge, he had not encountered this powerful Magneton .
"Give it up, kid! Hand over the item you stole," Lt. Surge's voice boomed.
Xavier's expression tightened, and his Pokémon swiftly gathered around him forming a protective barrier .
Observing Xavier's silence, Surge remarked, "I see you're not inclined to cooperate."
With that, Lt. Surge summoned two more formidable Pokémon: a level 43 Jolteon and a level 44 Electrode.
Surrounded and feeling the weight of the situation, Xavier's mind raced through various options. Anxiety coursed through him as his Pokémon glanced at him with evident concern.
After a flurry of thoughts, a realization struck him. "How could I be so dumb?"
With quick thinking, he recalled both Primeape and Nidoking into their respective Poké Balls. This sudden action alarmed Lt. Surge, who sensed that something was amiss. He immediately ordered his Pokémon to attack.
Just before the onslaught of attacks could strike, Xavier urgently tapped Kadabra and instructed it to use Teleport.
A veil of psychic energy enveloped Xavier and Kadabra, initiating a teleportation. In an instant, they vanished from the spot, leaving Surge's Pokémon to target an empty space.
A bellow of frustration erupted from Lt. Surge. He turned to the officers and issued a command to apprehend Xavier by any means necessary.
Meanwhile, Xavier and Kadabra materialized in front of the pokemon center and without wasting any time he quickly ran towards the Diglett's cave to hide.
