Navigating through the dark tunnel proved to be a real challenge for Xavier. Frequently, he found himself disoriented and unsure of the correct path, resulting in retracing his steps multiple times. Thus, the first day concluded in this frustrating cycle, with only half of the second day remaining.
Exhaustion was creeping up on Xavier; he hadn't slept and was continuously searching for the tunnel's exit. The ongoing struggle had sapped his energy, and he battled against drowsiness.
With time slipping away and the task seeming increasingly daunting, Xavier's hope wavered. The fatigue, both physical and mental, weighed heavily on him. Even his Primeape, sensing the fatigue, was recalled to its pokéball.
By his side, now was Alakazam as they ventured onward. After a while, Xavier's perseverance paid off as he finally spotted another NPC trainer. This trainer's team consisted of a Machoke at level 29 and a Onix at level 30.
Xavier swiftly challenged him, sending out Clefable to face the NPC trainer's Machoke. The battle was set, with Clefable poised and ready for action.
As the two Pokémon squared off, Clefable's MoonBlast surged forth with dazzling brilliance. The fairy-type move held a unique advantage against Machoke, and its power base of 90 made it a formidable attack. The radiant blast hit its mark with precision, causing significant damage to the opposing Machoke. The force of the MoonBlast was strong enough to leave Machoke staggered and struggling to regain its footing.
Undeterred, Machoke retaliated with its Karate Chop, a move known for its sharp precision. However, Clefable's fairy type granted it a natural resistance against fighting moves, dampening the impact of Machoke's attack. Clefable stood strong, ready to counter.
Drawing on its diverse moveset, Clefable unleashed a Flamethrower, creating a blazing stream of fire that engulfed Machoke. The attack, scorched the Fighting-type Machoke . Machoke's resilience was put to the test as it struggled to withstand Clefable's relentless onslaught.
Clefable's Stored Power came into play, a move that harnessed its boosted stats to deliver a potent psychic attack. The power of this move was evident as it struck Machoke with force, exploiting its weakened state. Machoke's defenses crumbled under the weight of Clefable's assault, and it succumbed to the cumulative damage.
With Machoke defeated, Xavier's Clefable emerged victorious in this fast-paced battle.
As the defeated Machoke returned to its pokeball, the NPC trainer sent out another pokemon – a towering Onix, its massive body coiling and uncoiling like a living serpent of stone. Xavier quickly recalled Clefable, opting to send out his sturdy Nidoking to face this imposing opponent.
Onix wasted no time, its rocky tail whipping through the air as it launched a barrage of sharp rocks with Rock Slide. Nidoking leaped nimbly, narrowly avoiding the incoming projectiles. However, a few rocks grazed him, inflicting some damage.
Seeing an opening, Nidoking lunged forward, his Poison Tail charged with toxic energy. The attack struck Onix, causing the massive Rock Snake to wince as the venomous strike landed. But Onix was far from finished. It retaliated with a powerful Heavy Slam, bringing its considerable weight crashing down on Nidoking. The impact jarred Nidoking and left him momentarily stunned.
Xavier knew he had to regain control of the battle. He commanded Nidoking to unleash his Bulldoze attack, causing the ground to tremble and sending shockwaves toward Onix. The Rock Snake Pokémon was jolted by the seismic waves, its rocky exterior showing signs of wear and tear. Seizing the opportunity, Nidoking followed up with a well-aimed MegaHorn attack, targeting a vulnerable spot on Onix's underbelly.
Onix's eyes gleamed with anger as it responded with a Dragon Breath attack. The scorching breath of energy swept towards Nidoking, who managed to evade most of the attack, though a glancing blow left him slightly singed.
With another fierce roar, Onix attempted to ensnare Nidoking with its Sand Tomb attack. The swirling vortex of sand and rocks began to form, but Nidoking's swift reflexes allowed him to evade the incoming sandstorm, preventing him from being trapped.
Xavier's brow furrowed as he assessed the situation. He knew that Nidoking's strength was formidable, but Onix's endurance was equally remarkable. Drawing upon his strategic instincts, he ordered Nidoking to focus his energy for a final surge.
With resolve, Nidoking lunged forward, his MegaHorn attack shining with powerful energy. The attack struck Onix with immense force, causing the Rock Snake Pokémon to stagger and wasting no time , Nidoking used Bulldoze which again hit Onix.
The accumulated damage proved too much for Onix to withstand . With a resounding crash, Onix toppled to the ground, defeated.
The battle had been fierce, a real test of both Pokémon's abilities. Nidoking, though weary, stood triumphant. Xavier recalled Nidoking , and went away after collecting reward of 1700 pokecoins from the NPC.
