After half an hour of trekking, Xavier reached the entrance of Mt. Moon. Taking a deep breath, he stepped inside, and the dimly lit cave greeted him with the presence of Zubats, Geodudes, and Sandshrews scurrying about.
Being well-prepared, Xavier actively used his Insight talent to inspect the various Pokémon and NPCs in the area, as well as to uncover hidden items scattered throughout the mountain. Throughout the day, he engaged in numerous battles, facing both wild Pokémon and NPCs.
The battles were tough, but Xavier's strategic thinking and well-trained Pokémon allowed him to emerge victorious in each encounter. His hard work was rewarded when he stumbled upon valuable items during his exploration - TM: Water Gun, a Potion, and even a Rare Candy.
The Rare Candy was a delightful surprise, and Xavier decided to not use it and keep it for later. Mankey reached level 19 and Nidorino level 17. After a fulfilling day in Mt. Moon, he returned to the nearby Pokémon Center to heal his team and rented a room for a much-needed rest.
The following day, Xavier decided to focus solely on defeating NPCs and Team Rocket members. He was determined to complete the second task of his mission. Battle after battle, he showcased his skills, easily overcoming many adversaries. With each victory, Xavier collected valuable rewards, including TM: Mega Punch and an Ether
Days passed, and Xavier maintained his routine of battling and exploring the mountain.
On the fifth day, his hard work paid off as he completed the first task of defeating all the NPCs inside Mt. Moon. Now, he was close to finishing the second task.He also found Moon Stone but decided to not use it for now to evolve Nidorino.
However, just as he thought the day would end smoothly, he encountered a formidable NPC near the exit of the mountain. The NPC presented two fossils and challenged Xavier to battle for the privilege of choosing one.
Determined to claim his reward, Xavier faced the NPC who has a team of Grimer(lv 16) , Voltorb(lv 15) and Koffing(lv18). The fight was intense, and both sides pushed their limits. In the end, Xavier emerged victorious .
He healed both his pokemons using Potions and also treated the poisoned Mankey with the Antidote.
For his outstanding performance, the NPC rewarded Xavier with 1200 pokecoins.
From the fossils , he chose Dome Fossil and headed towards the exit.
However, his journey was interrupted when he encountered none other than Team Rocket members Jesse, James, and their clever companion, Meowth.
