Chương 70: Lavender Town
"Finally, I'm out!" Xavier exclaimed with a triumphant shout. He settled beneath a nearby tree, taking a moment to catch his breath and recover from the arduous journey through the Rock Tunnel.
After allowing himself a brief respite, he rose from his spot and resumed his journey. Route 10 stretched before him, leading the way to Lavender Town.
As Xavier progressed along the route, he encountered a total of four NPC trainers. Observing their lineup, he noted that one of them possessed two Pidgeotto, both at level 29. Another trainer had a Graveller at level 30 and an Onix at level 31. The third trainer's team consisted of a Slowpoke at level 29 and a Marowak at level 30. The final opponent had a Gloom at level 30 and a Machoke at level 31.
Considering the condition of his team, Xavier opted to engage the trainers using only Alakazam and Primeape. The battles ensued, and through strategic maneuvering and skilled tactics, Xavier emerged victorious against all his opponents. The victories proved valuable not only for his progress but also for the growth of his pokémon. Alakazam's level ascended to 33, while Primeape advanced closer to level 34.
Continuing his journey through the route, Xavier's steps eventually led him to the Lavender Town. The sight of the town signaled a change of scenery and a new chapter in his adventure.
Xavier made his way directly to the Pokémon Center . Handing his pokémon over to Nurse Joy, he entrusted them to her capable care for the much-needed recovery. Recognizing his own fatigue, he opted to rent a room in the Pokémon Center. The weariness from sleeping within the tunnel's darkness had taken its toll on his body, and he longed for a good night's rest before embarking on his renewed mission.
Lying down on the comfortable bed, Xavier surrendered to the embrace of sleep as his eyelids grew heavy, gently falling into the realm of dreams.
The following morning greeted Xavier with a sense of refreshment as he awoke well-rested and ready for the challenges ahead. Retrieving his revitalized pokémon from the care of Nurse Joy, he proceeded to the nearby Pokémon Mart to procure essential supplies for the days to come.
He charted his course toward Route 8 with a clear objective in mind. He opted not to get sidetracked by exploring the town of Lavender for now, fully aware that time was a precious commodity, and he had a mere five days left to accomplish his tasks, and perhaps even discover the elusive hidden mission if luck favored him.
